PRODUCT & PROPOSITION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER-RETAIL FINANCIAL SERVICES

BASED LONDON

£35-38000 BONUS, bens

Our client a well-known and growing consumer financial services business is looking for an experienced Product Manager / Proposition Development professional to join the Product team. You will need prior experience in product management / proposition development from a consumer facing organisation

You will support the Strategy Development Manager to develop the retail strategy and will need to understand the customer needs, competitive market and emerging trends to develop product and service propositions that fit with the strategy

  • You will deliver key projects as Product Owner/Business Manager (i.e. product enhancements and new product development)
  • Work with the research and competitor intelligence teams, to investigate, analyse and interpret market and customer data to support propositions, enhancements and tactical initiatives
  • Work closely with Customer Experience to gain insight and input into proposition development
  • Support the creation and development of the product propositions in line with the overall strategy
  • Work with Customer Experience, Product and other Retail teams in analysing and proposing new propositions to meet the needs of target segment groups
  • Understand evolving trends and identify new opportunities (across digital and financial market places)
  • identify and explore possibility of new products to meet the needs of customers.
  • explore initial idea through to business case, gaining sign off from Senior Management team.
  • Use evaluation techniques and measurements to analyse effectiveness of implemented strategies and initiatives
  • Act as Product Owner/Business Manager for key projects (i.e. enhancements or new product development): leading on and liaising with key stakeholders; being responsible for making key business decisions, business case sign off and other key project gateways; being accountable for approval gateways

Experience required

  • Current/recent experience in a product management / product development or proposition development role, gained within a consumer facing organisation/ industry (essential)
  • Experience in consumer facing industries is essential; experience in consumer financial services or a regulated industry eg.telecoms, utilities would be an advantage
  • Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Equities Asset Management Java Lead - Director Level - £160k
    £130000 - £160000 per annum bonus

    Equities Asset Management Java Technical Lead – Director Level – up to £160k base

    A leading Asset/Wealth Manager based in London are continuing an aggressive expansion of their Equities Trading platform. Because of this expansion they require a hands on technical lead to manage and continue the growth of the London technology trading stack. The role will involve; core java development, design and architecture, code review and general day to day management duties.

    The team work closely with Quants, Traders and other business critical stakeholders. The team itself are one of the most innovative within the organisation and operate within a hugely dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

    The successful candidate can look to receive between £130k and £160k base plus a healthy bonus.

    Requirements:

    • Extensive Core Java Systems development experience
    • Front office experience, ideally Equities product knowledge

  • C Quant/Strats Developer - Equities Trading - Associate/VP
    £70000 - £120000 per annum bonus

    C Quant/Strats Developer required - Associate/VP - Equities Trading - Business Reporting - £70k-£120k

    A market leading Quant/Strats team at a tier one investment bank require an exceptional C developer, ideally with some experience of Python to join their Equities Trading team. The team themselves work on the Equities Trading quantitative models and report dsirectly into the business. The role will provide the platform for a strong technologist and mathematician, to face off to Quants and Traders and work closely with them to implement cutting edge C models/solutions.

    This team require both exceptional technological skills (C on Windows) and mathematical/problem solving abilities (PhD in Mathematics or related subject highly desirable). Also a strong understanding of Derivative products, ideally Equities required.

    The succesful candidate can look to recieve between £70,000 and £120,000 base salary, either Associate or VP level (dependant on experience)

    This will also be backed by a bonus and package funded by the trading desk themselves.

    • Derivative product knowledge (ideally Equities)
    • Strong mathematical/problem solving ability (ideally PhD level maths or similar)
