Operational Risk Manager

My banking client is looking to secure a new operational risk partner to join their Operational risk department. The banks operational risk department is accountable for supporting the management of Operational and conduct risk within the bank. Providing guidance, support and assurance to senior management.

The role itself involves:

  • The role itself is to ensure that the company has a comprehensive and accurate view of its risks.
  • Providing guidance, support and assurance to senior management.
  • The operational risk partner works within a growing and experienced risk management team who is accountable for ensuring a high quality analysis, advice and guidance on the management of operational and conduct risk.
  • To provide operations with quality support in their management of all operational and conduct related risks through implementation and embedding of the different risk management processes and initiatives

The ideal candidate should have these key skills:

  • Keeping colleagues informed with new procedures for incident reporting and to help them in their ongoing management of incidents that have occurred.
  • Providing support to departments that are in the process of dealing with incidents by ensuring the right procedures are being taken.
  • Carrying out risk and self-assessments (RSCA) with different business functions.
  • Reviewing and overlooking action plans to fill gaps identified from either risk management activities.
  • Strong communication / presentation skills.

    • Proven HR experience minimum 2-5 years within Professional Services/ Financial Services/ Management Consulting ideally
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills
    • Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Advanced Excel skills are desirable
    • Experience with complex data analysis
    • HR systems
    • Advising and working with senior stakeholders
    • Strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of a business

    A rare opportunity has become available due to expansion within a key area of the business who are looking for someone to take forward and lead this business area as their AV Technology manager.

    The role:

    The global IT team is seeking a Digital Events and AV Technology manager who will be a member of the Infrastructure Team at reporting to the Global Head

    This role will "own" all AV capable facilities globally and oversee the design and fit out of the AV estate for all new offices globally.

    • Working within the global leadership team to manage the video and events estate and service to internal clients.
    • Collaborating with senior clients, facilities, and IT Specialists to design and then deliver templated digital events to a gold standard, repeatedly.

    • Capacity planning and the management and monitoring of the estate
    • Ensure Software & security patches are maintained across the estate
    • Ensure configurations standards are maintained throughout the global estate
    • Visual design and being part of the creative process

    These are the skills required:

    • Experience in managing a small corporate TV Studio/Media Centre
    • Accredited Audio-visual qualifications ( Crestron , Q-Sys , Dante )
    • Experienced in Project management deliverables ( Prince /ITIL)
    • Experience in managing 3rd party service providers to SLA's/KPI's
    • Knowledge and understanding of Crestron applications ( Toolbox )
    • Good level of understanding API & HTML5
    • Knowledge on Live production environments such as Auditorium & TV Studio
    • Demonstrate understanding on Video Matrix , Podcasting , Live streaming
    • Good level of knowledge on QSYS , Dante & Christie Spyder platforms
    • Experience managing & supporting Exterity IPTV & Signage platforms

    My leading global insurance client are looking to bring on a BA/PM to support with the delivery of operational, client services, technology growth enablement projects and change activities.

    Candidates should have:

    • Experience as a BA/PM or Project Manager within the insurance sector
    • Proven delivery of operational (TOM, broker optimisation), client services, technology (IT and automation) and business development change activities.
    • Experience of business and support operations, transformation, IT and business change outcomes
    • Prior experience in the insurance and/or reinsurance industry
    • Previous experience of Target Operating Model and Business Transition projects
    • Demonstrable experience of working and delivering large business projects and programmes across major organisations delivering organisational wide change
    • Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills
    • Experience of delivering demonstrable continual improvement
