My client is a tier 1 investment bank based in London. They are on the lookout for a Java developer to join them in a mission-critical area of the business (commodity trading). They are looking to switch to automated commodity trading. The team own the entire technology stack and have full autonomy of any changes they feel needs to be made in order to maximise success and work as efficiently as possible.

SAP Specialist (Associate)

Role responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyse users’ requirements and priorities to shape their requirements from a system perspective.
- Work closely with the Bank’s Users to help articulate any system issues or incidents they may have.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation into SAP issues and recommend best practice solutions to ensure day-to-day operations in the Bank are not compromised.
- Utilise expert knowledge of the SAP implementation Guide (IMG) to design and implement configuration changes
6.2 SAP Platform Services, SAP Finance:
- Excellent knowledge of SAP Finance modules, including detailed configuration experience.
- Background in accounting a distinct advantage
- Deep understanding of the configuration and business processes on Bank ECC and Funds ECC
- Strong analytical and problem solving gained from hands on experience of SAP FI configuration in response to business requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of integration with other Bank finance applications
Required experience:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FI/CO within ECC 6.0 is required
- Demonstrable experience in SAP implementation and L3 Support
- Financial services or consultancy background
