Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with a wide variety of development teams and solves their issues, including coding directly on their project, refactoring, setting up environments and pipelines and coaching on behaviours and mind-setDrives lasting cultural change, including helping to establish an inner-source collaboration model, a DevSecOps mind-set, an Agile development approach, innovative risk management and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Works closely with other teams across Developer Engineering, supporting their efforts and contributing their own insights gained from fieldwork

Experience:

  • Expert coder in several of our key languages, for example: Java, Python, C/C++, Javascript, SQL, Rust, Scala, Go
  • Cloud Native Experience ideally GCP or AWS
  • Microservices
  • Proven track record of successfully coaching and guiding other developers
  • Superbly knowledgeable Agile practitioner, with real-world experience and a highly disciplined approach
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and the underlying technologies used at Citi
  • Detailed technical understanding of our operating environments, Linux and Kubernetes as a minimum
  • History of developing on a wide variety of architectures, up to and including container based micro-services
  • Ideally (but not absolutely required), experience of working in and/or running development teams in a banking environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred

    My client is seeking an HR Project Manager who has had a focus on Talent Management initiatives to project manage the integration of a talent management processes, implementing a new platform combining performance, skills, career paths and succession.

    The HR Project Manager will build stakeholder relationships and help drive the People Team to make value driven decisions around the talent management journey. You will drive outcomes, working with all People Team specialisms and oversee the interconnected talent management projects, helping the team to reconcile interdependencies and identify the priority areas.

    Key areas of focus:

    • Facilitate communication and deliverables between multiple and cross-functional project teams to ensure successful delivery of the program
    • End-to-end program management, i.e. lead the interactions with stakeholders
    • Responsible for building project plan, communications and managing dates with project manager

    The Public Cloud Infrastructure team consists of a number of talented Java Software Engineers who are instrumental in implementing the architecture and the engineering processes and best practices to enable the foundational infrastructure (compute, network, storage, observability) required for application hosting in public cloud.
