My client are a globally renowned asset management firm currently seeking a senior/lead developer to take project ownership within one of their teams. The successful candidate will lead the build-out of a single entry point solution. Part of this role will also be focused on maintenance and simplification of a BMD platform. The role involves a good mix of green-field and existing product development providing exposure to a variety of business demands and technologies.
The role involves leading solution design, development and quality assurance processes across all aspects of the software engineering life-cycle. Mentoring junior members of the team and dealing with various stakeholders within the business is also a major part of the role.
Required skills (high proficiency):
- Sharepoint development (Sharepoint online)
- .net core
- React
- Angular
- Azure/ Azure DevOps
- PowerBI
- Management of diverse technical teams and mentorship of junior members
Nice to have:
- Financial Services experience
- Octopus
- Good experience of agile working practices

This role is predominantly Sharepoint-based, but good working experience of .Net core, React, Angular and Azure will be required to be successful.

An oppportunity has arisen for a Network Operations Engineer to join a global financial services client in Cheshire.
The team support the global network infrastructure with a large range of technologies, including ACI, SD-WAN, Virtualisation, Cloud, Wireless, etc as well as traditional routing, switching and security. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skillset as they will be cross training the successful candidate on various technologies. This role is a combination of BAU and project work – there are a large number of projects in the pipeline so an exciting time to be joining the team.
Skills and experience required:
- CCNP, CCIE or equivalent
- Experience of network support within an enterprise environment
- Routing & bridging protocols (ie BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, Etherchannel)
- Firewall platforms and Load Balancing platforms (ie Cisco ASA, Juniper or Checkpoint, F5, etc)
- Experience of working within a large multiple-site, multi-protocol LAN & WAN
- Hands-on experience with the design of multi-national enterprise switched and Layer 3 LAN’s
- Working knowledge and design of multicast enabled LAN/WANs
