I am currently looking for an Application Support Lead (Front Office/ AWS) to join a top trading firm based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Role responsibilities:

  • Team lead a small off-shore team responsible for the primary support of key global trading applications.
  • The teams’ key responsibilities include providing incident and problem management to internal and external clients, building and developing relationships with these clients whilst providing excellent technical support, release and change control process to multiple global trading applications.
  • Proactive management of business-critical real-time trading systems, identifying issues and potential problem areas.
  • Interact with various internal IT support functions: Infrastructure, Development, Quality Assurance, Operations, external IT department and 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents.

Experience/ Skills required:

  • Experience of leading a team supporting business critical front office application
  • Ability to build effective relationships with business users
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of cloud technology: AWS or Azure
  • Good understanding of Windows Server, Linux servers
  • Knowledge of web servers: IIS / Apache / Nginx
  • Scripting skills (BASH, Powershell)

Location - London

Role – Permanent

Salary - £70,000 - £85,000 p/a

FIX Integration Engineer/ FIX Onboarding- Fixed Income

I am currently looking for an experienced FIX Integration Engineer position to join a top financial organisation based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Responsibilities-

Help new and existing institutional clients and broker-dealers with the implementation/integration of APIs for various STP features.

Support API integration for various fixed income products - US Investment Grade, Emerging Markets, High Yield, US Agencies, Asset Backed Securities and Credit Default Swaps.

Work with client services, production support and development teams for speedy resolution of any issues in the test and production environments.

Experience required

Experience in a development, trade support or business analyst role.

Experience and thought leadership in certification is highly desirable. Specifically, automation of certification procedures and installing self-service tools in order to produce operational efficiencies.

FIX protocol experiences a must.

Experience with XML (DTD, schemas), TCP/IP & networking fundamentals

Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system including user commands, scripting etc.

RDBMS skills (SQL Server and/or Oracle) – ability to read, write and run SQL scripts

I am currently looking for a Fixed Income Application Support Analyst (FIX/ UNIX) to join a top financial organisation based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

General Support Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide cover to the Live and Test trading systems, ensuring smooth running of trading system servers and services.
  • Provide technical support to the external Clients
  • Provide 2nd line support services for client services and account management teams.
