McGregor Boyall Associates have partnered with a global systematic hedge fund who are looking for a highly skilled low latency C++ Developer.
Working as part of the low-latency and global connectivity team, and alongside quantitative analysts/developers and traders, you will develop and maintain software systems that enable high-speed trading, while optimising and improving algorithms to facilitate tens of thousands of trades per second.
The ideal candidate will have worked on front office trading desks, or buy-side systematic/quantitative hedge funds, and have strong knowledge and experience in working on execution gateways and market data feed handlers.
Requirements
- Proficient in OOP specifically in C++, as well as low latency development for high-frequency trading systems
- Experience working on front office trading desks, or buy-side systematic/quantitative hedge funds with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in an additional OO language(s) such as Python, C#, or Java is desirable
- Experience with Linux is essential
