Low Latency Java Engineer - eTrading
"A boutique investment bank in London is seeking highly skilled and experienced Java Low Latency software engineers to join the evergrowing eTrading Technology Team. The successful Java developer will be responsible for developing and deploying strategic low-latency pricing and trading applications for the global FX and Fixed Income trading desks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on development and deployment of major components into production trading systems
- Superior analysis and debugging skills in support of active production trading operations
- Work well in an Agile team setting
- Discuss problems and solutions with technologists, quants, and trading business leads
- Familiarity with current dev-ops tools and best practices (e.g. Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, TeamCity, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory)
- Utilize low latency techniques, low or zero GC techniques, and mindset
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong expertise in Java8+
- Experience in electronic pricing and/or trading
- Familiarity with FIX protocol for market data and/or order lifecycle is a big plus
- KDB experience is a plus

The Business Development Manager will:
- Identify and close: To research, identify, approach and close new sales opportunities within the EMEA region.
