A leading software company are looking for a Marketing & Communications Director to join the business in a newly created position.

Reporting into the CMO, the postholder will take responsibility for devising and implementing the marketing strategy and scaling the marketing function. You will have experience working for a sales driven Software Tech or Data Analytics firm planning and executing integrated campaigns, driving marketing activities to develop and maintain brand positioning, oversee a content marketing department who will execute the social media strategy and have an SEO/SEM strategy in place.

You will manage several relationships across the business with the likes of Product, HR, Finance and Senior Leadership. You will also manage the relationship between Marketing & PR agencies and be supported with a large budget to deliver the company objectives.

The postholder will have experience using marketing automation platforms, have a data driven approach to marketing and be able to provide reporting/metrics/analysis to key stakeholders.

To be considered:

  • Current or recent experience working in the Software Tech or Data Analytics space
  • Experience leading and growing a Marketing function
  • Broad Digital, Marketing & Comms experience, managing large budgets £1m+
  • Devise and oversee the implementation of the content strategy, experienced with Social, SEO/SEM
  • Used marketing automation platforms
  • Data driven, able to provide reporting and analysis to senior leadership
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships

    Role responsibilities:

    • Interpret and analyse users’ requirements and priorities to shape their requirements from a system perspective.
    • Work closely with the Bank’s Users to help articulate any system issues or incidents they may have.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation into SAP issues and recommend best practice solutions to ensure day-to-day operations in the Bank are not compromised.
    • Utilise expert knowledge of the SAP implementation Guide (IMG) to design and implement configuration changes



    6.2 SAP Platform Services, SAP Finance:

    • Excellent knowledge of SAP Finance modules, including detailed configuration experience.
    • Background in accounting a distinct advantage
    • Deep understanding of the configuration and business processes on Bank ECC and Funds ECC
    • Strong analytical and problem solving gained from hands on experience of SAP FI configuration in response to business requirements.
    • Excellent knowledge of integration with other Bank finance applications



    Required experience:

    • In-depth knowledge of SAP FI/CO within ECC 6.0 is required
    • Demonstrable experience in SAP implementation and L3 Support
    • Financial services or consultancy background

    The role:

    • To collaborate with the business to understand requirements.
    • To create and design meaningful / Insightful reports within Power BI.
    • To query data from the data warehousing using SQL.


    Required experience:

    • Extensive Power BI report development experience.
    • Strong DAX and SQL experience.
    • Deep understanding of Data Warehousing.
    • Solid high-level stakeholder management skills - Collaboration and requirement gathering.
