An International membership body is seeking a membership advisor who will be responsible for managing existing partnerships and supporting to generate commercial sponsorship income from existing activities and new initiatives.


Reporting into the Head of Commercial Partnerships, you will take a lead role in managing existing sponsorships and supporting in identifying and securing revenue from new sponsorships. The position will require a mix of commercial nous and project/client management skills in order to see commercial projects through the entire product cycle, and will be responsible for liaising with internal stakeholders to identify appropriate activities for sponsorship; developing client proposals and contracts; and managing relationships with past, current and future partners through pro-active account management and post activity reporting.


You will be expected to be able to work autonomously at a fast pace, showing initiative in handling all aspects of the sales cycle, and will work closely with the Head of Commercial Partnerships to ensure all live sponsorships are in hand.

Key Responsibilities:
Sponsorship selling and account management

  • Coordinate and communicate with internal departments to ensure that sponsorship engagements are recorded and profiled, and that each element of the agreement is being met, project managing delivery across teams where necessary;
    • Provide strategic input, and act as a source of support and information for the wider team and organisation, including best practice and advice on developing plans and opportunities for maximising income generation and member engagement.
    • Responsibility for delivering income against targets for agreed activities and identifying and developing new opportunities for commercial exploitation;
    • Take day-to-day responsibility for sourcing and agreeing sponsors across multiple opportunities; this will include managing interest and making targeted approaches, managing negotiations with senior stakeholders, and securing contractual agreements;
    • Build a database of sponsorship prospects/pipeline to ensure continuity of income should any contracts be terminated and to target for new commercial activity, highlighting risks and opportunities to the Head of Commercial Partnerships;
    • Regularly review and suggest new ways of working/approaches to sponsorship to ensure that packages and offering are still delivering in terms of member and commercial value. Keep up to date on market trends and proactively suggest new ideas based on understanding of current business environment and member need;

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a test role
    • Financial services experience – in particular, wrap products (pension (SIPP), ISA and general account) desirable
    • Test lead experience preferred – but with the ability to remain hands on
    • Experience of both waterfall and agile delivery would be an advantage, as this role has exposure to both
    • 3rd party supplier experience, ideally with heavy integration
    • Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical partners

    My banking client is looking to secure a new operational risk partner to join their Operational risk department. The banks operational risk department is accountable for supporting the management of Operational and conduct risk within the bank. Providing guidance, support and assurance to senior management.

    The role itself involves:

    • The role itself is to ensure that the company has a comprehensive and accurate view of its risks.
    • Providing guidance, support and assurance to senior management.

    European retail banking firm seeks a Java Developer for a permanent position paying up to £105,000 within the firms highly agile Java development team based in London.

    The team is responsible for the development of the Core Banking Digital Platforms including Risk, Payments, Lending and Customer Data. They are in the process of expansion and require an additional Java Developer providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle with an emphasis using the latest Java technology stacks.
