Our client is looking for 2 Interim Regulatory Policy Analysts to support the work of RAPID.

Responsibilities:

Developing longer-term strategic policy, handling uncertainty and ambiguity, to support the development of wider regulatory and commercial frameworks to deliver large scale multi-party infrastructure development. This includes, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Commercial delivery models for strategic infrastructure
  • Standardised agreements/Industry codes;
  • Arrangements for day-to-day operations of shared water supplies, including how water is allocated between buyers of water;
  • Encouraging greater interconnectivity to promote resilience;
  • To influence, Inform and engage with Internal and External stakeholders to progress key policy areas. This includes influencing and managing strategic policy relationships with government, regulators, companies and NGOs.Contributing to the continuous improvement of data and insights within the organisation, proactively sharing skills and knowledge.
  • Providing wider support of the RAPID team in delivering its forward programme and the interactions with other Ofwat clusters (primarily Future Assets & Resources and PR24 & beyond).

Requirements

Essential:

  • Degree level qualification or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of strategic policy development, design, analysis & implementation, with an emphasis on creative and critical thinking.
  • Knowledge of best practice in policy and strategy development and delivery.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality policy and strategic thinking.
  • Experience of engaging effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification
  • Experience in infrastructure and utility policy, environment and water policy, economic and wider regulatory policy or consumer policy
  • Experience of using data, data visualisation and analysis in presenting key conclusions to influence thinking and approach
  • Experience of delivering projects including managing external suppliers, and other organisational functions.

    SQL Server Developer required to help deliver a project with an Edinburgh-based Financial Services client.     Umbrella Day Rate - £750 - £850/day (Inside IR35)

    London – Hybrid Working (3 days a week in office)

    Looking for a BAPM to work on an eRates electronic trading platform which underpins the electronic rates activity including pricing, hedging and execution.

    Candidates should have:

    • Experience as a business analyst / project manager in a financial services organisation
    • Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, and associated trading workflows: Government Bonds, Interest Swaps, Repos, Futures and options
    • Extensive understanding of electronic trading venues and associated dataflows i.e., market, static and trade data.
    • Experience of working with the ION Trading
    • Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.
    • Active interest in design of system architecture

    Up to £55000 per annum + + Bonus + Additional Benefits

    A well known aviation business is seeking a permanent Business Development Manager to support the delivery of the EMEA B2B revenue income targets through proactive sales approaches.

    The Business Development Manager will:

    • Identify and close: To research, identify, approach and close new sales opportunities within the EMEA region.
    • Collaboration: To work with colleagues internally to support the presales process (pitch presentations etc).
    • New client mobilisation: To support the new client mobilisation process.
    • Tenders / RFPs (request for proposals): To search for tendering / RFP opportunities that could be of interest from a new business client perspective.
    • Conferences / trade events: To drive lead generation through attending appropriate industry conferences, trade shows, events and expositions.

    Ideal candidate:

    • Must have the ability to identify and close new business sales opportunities
    • Skilled in lead generation and relationship building
    • Able to present with confidence at C-suite / Partner level
    • It would be advatageous if they worked in the travel and tourism industry

    Please note this is a hybrid role and will require some office presence.
