Lead Java Developer- Northampton


My client, a Northampton based company has a great opportunity for a Lead Java Developer. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for the production of high quality and fit for purpose application software.
This role involves working alongside stakeholders, designers and testers to take requirements and transform them into working, deployable applications.
You will also be responsible for developing and mentoring other developers and ensuring they receive appropriate training to aid in their development.

You will be joining rapidly growing company with great reputation, where you will be using open modern source technologies.

Requirements:

Technical Specialism:

* Strong experience in Java and Java based frameworks ( e.g. Spring, Hibernate, etc)
* Strong xperience using SQL, developing DDL, DML and query optimization
* Experience using JavaScript, Node, HTML5 and CSS3
* Deep understanding of Software Craftmanship ( Clean Code, TDDBDD, Pair Programming)
* Experience and knowledge of Agile methodologies
* Ability to work in cross-platform environment ( Windows, MacOS, Linux).

Other skills and experience:

* Demonstrable experience of taking very high level user stories through to live completion
* Competency in at least one common scripting language
* Knowledge of Object Orientated programing Design and associated concepts.
* Deep understanding of the importance of code quality and the tools used to help the development communities maintain and monitor quality.

    An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our client a leading global financial services business in the marketing team.

    You will play a key role in delivering exceptional marketing and communications campaigns, working closely with the Nordic area of the business.

    You will be responsible for delivering and executing the marketing plan locally, in line with the Global objectives and goals.

    • Responsible for the development and management of marketing campaigns for a local audience (email, social, web etc)
    • Localise and implement EMEA/Global marketing plans and campaigns
    • Work closely with the translators and the digital marketing team to update / improve company website
    • Work on multichannel marketing campaigns collaborating with central marketing teams
    • Work on the planning and execution of further marketing activities including events, media etc.

    Skills

    • SC Clearance is ESSENTIAL
    • Hands on experience of PRPC case working
    • Experience in Integration with JSSON REST highly desirable
    • Strong UX design highly desirable
    • Creating and modifying the Pega rules Rule Sets in the creation of activities, flows (of a given USE CASE) and UI design.
    • Integrations, designing Flows, Activities, Flow Actions, Harness, Section, Decision rules, Declarative rules and Reports.
    • Performance tools like PAL, Profiler, DB Tracer to measure the performance of PRPC applications.
