This impressive global Financial Services Technology and Data provider are implementing vast amounts of change across the organisation and are looking for a Salesforce focussed Business Analyst to help control and manage their Business Change initiatives internally as well as dealing with external clients.

Digital & Business Technology Business Analyst - Salesforce

As a D&BT Business Analyst you will provide a vital function bridging the gap between business and technology. In partnership with your Product Owner(s), Stakeholders and other Subject Matter Experts, you will analyse complex business problems and processes in order to refine, and bring to a ready state, user stories that drive value for the business. With strong focus on Sales and Service processes, you will make sure an out of box Salesforce solution meets the need.

In formulating solution options, you will use your Salesforce business analysis experience & knowledge to facilitate discussion across a wider technology team including architects, user experience consultants, development and quality assurance engineers. That team may consist of internal or external people, potentially working in a variety of global locations and timezones.

To be a successful candidate you will need to have strong empathy with customer’s needs, be able to negotiate and challenge, have great analytical and problem-solving skills, use business analysis techniques effectively and be able to present your ideas convincingly to senior stakeholders. You will have also been exposed to working in an agile environment.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Work closely with Product Owners and Stakeholders to negotiate the most impactful Minimum Viable Product (MVP), seeking measurable value whilst avoiding dependencies, impediments or technical challenges as far as possible
  • Elicit and assess true stakeholder needs, outcomes, and value, always challenging questionable scope
  • In close partnership with other technology experts on the team, use knowledge of Sales and Service processes to design valuable solutions to agreed business needs and outcomes
  • Use business analysis techniques, tools and templates to great effect during the course of an assigned project
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with Product Owner, stakeholders and team members.
  • Remain current with company news, policies, products and culture. Keep mandatory training up to date.

Essential Skills

  • Experience working as Salesforce Business Analyst on Major Sales/Service transformational projects
  • Should have experience as Salesforce configurator, utilizing “clicks not code” Salesforce methodology and exposer to Integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems through cloud technologies.
  • Must be certified Administrator
  • Experience influencing and guide others towards most logical and valuable outcomes
  • Demonstrable experience in business analysis techniques, such as gathering requirements, refining user stories, modelling processes and analysing data
  • Good communication and facilitation skills, ideally running workshops

Desirable Skills

  • Certified as Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant
  • Experience working for global organization with teams spread across multiple time zones ( preferably Asia, GMT & EST)
  • Awareness of user experience design
  • A good understanding of project management methods, the software development lifecycle and enterprise architecture principles

    You will:

    • You will work closely with Group Ecommerce, Systems and development teams, Digital Creative department and wider Brand Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams.
