McGregor Boyall are a global Technology Recruitment company. We are currently hiring a Recruitment Consultant with expertise in the Technology market to join us in Birmingham! The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a 360 Recruitment role, with a strong emphasis on Business / Client Development. You will take full responsibility for managing and growing your desk and portfolio of clients. We are looking for someone to develop and win new business as well as managing our existing clients across the Midlands, to build and grow our client base.

The Birmingham Office;
This office works in Core Tech into the Commerce & Industry and Financial Services markets. The successful person will be very involved from the outset in making key decisions around managing their desk and clients, and will help to develop and grow our team and client base. This is a great chance to advance your career by taking on more responsibility and being a crucial part of developing a new office for a global brand. You will be supported by a London based Marketing, HR and back office team to assist with contactor onboarding, branding and any HR related issues.

We are looking for;

  • Minimum of 12 months 360 Recruitment experience (Technology)
  • Strong Business Development skills
  • Good relationship building / Account Management skills
  • Someone who wants to take on a good amount of responsibility from day one

    Key Responsibilities

    Skills & Knowledge

    • Strong creative intuition as a result of having experience deploying digital solutions for enterprise businesses, from large programmes of change to optimisation following user-centered design process.
    • Experience working with experts from other disciplines within digital; interaction design, technology, content strategy, and brand strategy, to plan, ideate and set the design direction of projects.
    • Ideally, expertise in personal Investing and/or advisory. Experience in other sectors also valuable, particularly B2B.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven track record of influencing and motivating others at a senior level to achieve results and exceed targets. Ability to communicate complex and emotive topics to different audiences in an approbate way.

    Role Holder Responsibilities:

    This person will have a strong track record or developing and implementing best in class procurement performance across a range of direct and indirect categories. You must be able to demonstrate significant influence, value add and supply chain improvement across a number of sectors.

    You must be able to demonstrate:

    • Proven experience in the use of category management processes to deliver significant benefits to the organisation throughout the entire procurement lifecycle
    • A broad knowledge and experience achieved within both Private and Public Sector procurement environments including use of the Public Contract Regulations and OJEU
    • Experience of overseeing Asset Management, IT and/or corporate services categories.
    • Experience of operating in a fast-paced and developing procurement environment
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders, during a period of immense change across various business directorates, and maintaining focus on successful delivery
    • The character and ability to work under pressure and deliver challenging targets on an enduring and sustainable basis as part of a co-located team
