Recruitment Consultant, Technology Sector, Birmingham

McGregor Boyall are a global Technology Recruitment company. We are currently hiring a Recruitment Consultant with expertise in the Technology market to join us in Birmingham! The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a 360 Recruitment role, with a strong emphasis on Business / Client Development. You will take full responsibility for managing and growing your desk and portfolio of clients. We are looking for someone to develop and win new business as well as managing our existing clients across the Midlands, to build and grow our client base.

The Birmingham Office;
This office works in Core Tech into the Commerce & Industry and Financial Services markets. The successful person will be very involved from the outset in making key decisions around managing their desk and clients, and will help to develop and grow our team and client base. This is a great chance to advance your career by taking on more responsibility and being a crucial part of developing a new office for a global brand. You will be supported by a London based Marketing, HR and back office team to assist with contactor onboarding, branding and any HR related issues.

We are looking for;

  • Minimum of 12 months 360 Recruitment experience (Technology)
  • Strong Business Development skills
  • Good relationship building / Account Management skills
  • Someone who wants to take on a good amount of responsibility from day one
  • Someone who is driven and ambitious

    My client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner to join a very influential organisation that is always looking to make a positive contribution to the UK. As the HR Business Partner, you will partner with the business to support on all aspects of HR including ER, Performance Change & Talent Management.

    This role is for a commercially focussed and hands on Senior HR Advisor or Business Partner with a proven track record of supporting senior stakeholders and line managers across the business in a large organisation.

    • The role will partner with business areas and subject matter experts to deliver the people agenda which is aligned to the business strategy
    • To work with the business area to build capability and capacity with the line managers
    • Support on organisational change
    • Support on the establishment of talent management and succession planning
    • Provide guidance and solutions on ER and Performance

    Experience

    • Previous experience as a Senior HR Advisor or Business Partner supporting and working with senior stakeholders
    • Experience in change and leadership management

    • Line management experience will be highly regarded

    CIPD membership or equivalent qualification

  • Head of Regulatory Compliance
    Negotiable

    To oversee the provision of regulatory and compliance advisory services, act as the main interface with the UAE Central Bank, manage regulatory liaison, lead and administer the FATCA/CRS programme for the Bank and other applicable regulatory programmes to ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met

    At least 10 years of experience in banking/financial services sector with at least 7 years in the compliance

    environment

    Knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulations and requirements

    Knowledge of banking rules and regulations of UAE

    Knowledge of banking regulations in UK, US, Europe and AsiaPac
