AWS - Data Developer - Credit Risk

£45000 - £60000 per annum

What will you be doing?
• Leading agile technical teams of AWS, Python and Hadoop developers in Credit risk for delivery of AWS platform solution
• Developing AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud formation), Chef, Hadoop, Spark, Teradata
• Developing applications and run in EC2 instances using Barclays Persephone/ BLZ services
• Performing implementation and integration tasks for medium to large, complex in-house developed systems particularly in Credit Risk area
• Interacting with business stakeholders, technology management in Risk, Finance and Treasury areas, Controls and governance functions, portfolio and program management
• Handling challenges confidently and instilling confidence in stakeholders
• Delivering complex regulatory projects involving multiple business and technical teams
• Being hands-on in development, code reviews, unit testing and Implementation procedures along with creation of Design documents

What we’re looking for:
• Solid development and delivery experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud formation), Chef, Hadoop, Spark, Teradata
• Must have AWS Data Analytics Speciality certification, with hand on experience in AWS services – EC2, S3, EBS, ECS, ELB, VPC, Amazon Cloud Watch and Auto Scaling
• Banking experience, Credit risk product knowledge, Balance Sheet/P&L, Planning & Forecasting and Business Process with exposure to Regulatory Reporting functions
• Must have experience in Big Data and Data Analytics in SAS

Skills that will help you in the role:
• SOx controls implementation experience
• Familiarity with complex system integration and excellent understanding of the full SDLC lifecycle including both waterfall, agile and DevOps methodologies
• Exposure to SAP, QlikView, Abinitio Metadata hub, Oracle, aPaaS / dPaaS
• Solid strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution, facilitation and decision making skills

  • HR Business Partner
    £65000 - £75000 per annum

    My client, a key player in the financial services industry, has an opportunity for a commercial HR Business Partner to join a highly regarded HR team.

    Key accountabilities for the role will be interpreting the business strategy into clear deliverables from a people strategy perspective for the client groups allocated to support employee populations of between 2,000 – 4,000, interfacing with the broader HR team and business functions as well as centres of excellence to drive out the HR initiatives amidst a background of transformation. You will ensure they are engaged appropriately to deliver the appropriate support in all areas including talent management, succession and development and leadership.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner with sound experience within an HR partnering role in a global, matrix and regulated environment, preferably within financial services or insurance.

    As an ideal fit for this role you will have the following experience:

    • Extensive experience of having worked as a HR Business Partner within a complex, matrix organisation preferably within Retail Banking supporting corporate functions or customer contact centres

    We have a great opportunity for a strong HR Business Partner or HR Manager to work with one of the most iconic Beauty brands worldwide.     Research and Market Data Associate - Investment Banking – 6 month contract

    This role is based within our clients Data Strategy and Services team and would be suited to a Senior Researcher with current or recent experience working within an investment banking environment.

    The suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate skills and experience providing high quality research and analysis and must have an excellent working knowledge of Dealogic for transaction screening and be proficient with the use of this to complete in depth searches, data discovery, league tables and update market reports across M&A, ECM and Fixed Income.
