Globally recognised client are looking for an MQ Series Administrator to join an established team. The position is challenging but very rewarding, giving you the chance to learn and work alongside other mainframe experts. Strong technical knowledge is key within the role to support and maintain the infrastructure and business services.

Key Capabilities/ Knowledge:

- Detailed Technical knowledge of the MQ on zMainframe environment and associated technologies, as well as the related standards and policies used to govern these technologies.


Key skills the client are looking for:

- Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources, allowing the provision of highly effective solutions in complex environments.

- Strong quality and service focus.

- Experience in delivering complex projects and / or incident recoveries.

- Occasionally out of working hours will be required to complete upgrades and delivery activities

    Skills and experience

    • Paralegal experience
    • Experience in counterparty and other markets contracts e.g. trading agreements, terms of business
    • Experience in OTC derivatives trading documentation, such as ISDAs, GMRAs, FBFs and DRVs
    • Financial services experience, ideally in an in-house role
