Business Analyst- Financial Crime, Risk, AML, Sanctions, Change Management, Process Reengineering, Six Sigma, CBAP, ISEB BCS- Permanent- Chester

I am working with a market leading client who are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Financial Crime and Risk area, to support the continuous improvement programme to strengthen all financial crime risk prevention streams including sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery and corruption. As a Business Analyst in this area, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of regulatory obligations to strengthen financial crime risk management.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Educated to at least BSc level, or equivalent qualifications with demonstrable employment history
  • ISEB BCS or CBAP certified
  • Solid business analyst skills and the ability to provide business, technical and SME knowledge
  • At least 3 years working in business analyst roles, preferably in financial services or highly regulated industries
  • Demonstrable experience of working in financial crime, risk, AML or similar programmes
  • Strong skills in understanding operational risks
  • Strong process modelling and reengineering skills



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define methodology for achieving the most effective policy standards to prevent risk from financial crime
  • Design and roll out new systems to support financial crime risk management, AML and Anti-Bribery across the business
  • Act as an SME in the design of new process operating models to ensure effective process, governance and control over all financial crime prevention activity
  • Use key business analysis skills, tools and methodologies to define business requirements and produce potential solutions based on the results of effective requirements gathering activity
  • Support enterprise scale change and transformation and provide subject matter expertise in regards to operational risk, impact, programme cost and process design
  • Work with senior compliance, risk and transformation colleagues to develop business cases and present these to stakeholder to outline the benefits to improved financial crime risk management
  • Take a leading, hands on role in the delivery of change in the financial crime area
  • Assist with the design and delivery of changes to the Target Operating Model to fall in line with regulatory responsibilities and to promote to betterment of financial crime risk prevention methods
