I am working with a financial services organization who are looking for a Senior Change & Transformation Manager to join the business as they undergo a period of growth, development, business landscape overhaul and restructuring. The Senior Change & Transformation Manager role is suited to a candidate bringing an extensive background in senior business transformation roles/consultancy background, who has worked on a range of high budget, multi-million pound programmes involving the delivery of cost and resource synergies, as well as business reconciliation programmes after merger and acquisition activity.



  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent qualifications/experience
  • At least 10 years experience delivering business change and transformation programmes
  • Proven and demonstrable experience of delivering company and group wide business integration programmes as part of reconciliation activity, design of new internal, core BAU functions, and strategic overhaul
  • Experience of realigning existing strategies as a new business strategy to heighten the benefits of synergies after one new business is created after merger and acquisition activity
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, methods and tools including change management certification(s)
  • Extensive knowledge of leading change and transformation management in areas including, HR, Supply Chain & Procurement, Logistics, Human Resources, Finance, Data Reporting, IT, Customer Service, BI and/or others
  • Abilities in setting up new PMO functions and redesigning enterprise architecture
  • Solid background understanding of business operations and importance of IT operations
  • Proven abilities delivering risk management and risk mitigation strategies
  • Previous work experience coordinating and delivering multi-disciplinary programmes, with strong abilities in effective management of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrable proactive attitude of leading significant overhaul of business environments, while delivering high quality results


  • Drive long term strategic change in the business to embed new practices, policies and procedures as embedded functions
  • Design and develop the business integration strategy, including how to achieve long term restructure, resource synergies and cost efficiencies after merger and acquisition (M A) activity
  • Act as SME in all issues relating to business overhaul, business integration, and technical and non-technical synergies to realise the full benefits of merger and acquisition activity
  • Engage in redesigning the Target Operating Model where needed, to include new SLAs to ensure the delivery of all initiatives, managing the realignment and process re-engineering planning which may also be needed
  • Lead the programme to ensure that business leads to shared goals, targets and visions, and realigns the businesses into the group to promote strong brand identity
  • Understand the importance, size and scale of the role in a senior leadership position, and be a thought leader amongst a team to drive high quality strategic delivery to shape the business landscape
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, including the Human Resources Director, Country Head and other division leaders, to collaborate, share thoughts and bridge the gap between business requirements, strategic planning and programme delivery
  • Manage all external stakeholders and 3rd parties to ensure that all work streams stay on target and are completed on time
  • Be confident to take ownership of an unstructured environment and complex issues in a VUCA environment, and lead complex people, process and technological change
