Business Change Project Manager- Project Management, Gap Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Stakeholder Management, E-Commerce, Digital, Assets, Risk- Permanent- Manchester

I am working with a rapidly growing e-commerce client in the Greater Manchester area who are looking for a Business Change Project Manager, to join the business during a critical time of growth and development, including new product and platform launches. The Business Change Project Manager will ideally bring experience from the betting, gambling and gaming industry, or from fast paced e-commerce or digital environments.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level, or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 4 years experience working in Business Change Project Manager roles or similar
  • Experience from the betting and gaming, e-commerce and/or digital environments preferred
  • Extensive demonstrable experience of managing complex business change projects
  • The ability to prioritise, coordinate, control and monitor the progress of workstreams in line with agreed time scales, and manage any delivery issues effectively
  • Strong core business analysis skills including gap analysis, requirements gathering, and extensive experience with 'as is' and 'to be' analysis
  • Extensive business change experience is necessary for this role
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to tactfully manage complex business environments and relationships
  • Previous experience of working closely with relevant 3rd parties

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the business through a critical time of change as they add new platforms and product offerings into their portfolio, effectively managing the delivery of all work streams
  • Take ownership of all gap analysis and requirements gathering activities in multiple workstreams across the change, transformation and new product development projects
  • Complete the 'as is' and 'to be' analysis and design the coordination and delivery plan for the strategy
  • Be comfortable working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a fast paced, continuously changing environment
  • Take responsibility for team management and ensure that the workload is split in the best interests of the project
  • Create an asset register and risk register as part of due diligence in the project, and report on which areas still need assessed to fully support business change
  • Carry out process mapping to give strong insight into where management controls and frameworks need to be applied
  • Provide high level oversight in a broad business change and new product offering project to give effective control
  • Effectively work with a range of key stakeholders, both internal parties and 3rd parties, and manage a variety of complex requirements which are critical to the success of the project
  • Manage the expectations of key stakeholders on the likely delivery time scales and completion dates of work to ensure that they are fully involved in the process

  • Internal Auditor
    £45000 - £65000 per annum

    They are looking for an Auditor to join their team as, at present, it is outsourced to the Big 4. This is a stand alone role, which has excellent progression and exposure to senior stakeholders in the UK and China as well as exposure to different areas of the business. The candidate should have strong Audit experience as well as being fluent in Mandarin as there will be lots of communicating with the Head Office.


    The Internal audit Function provides internal audit for the London branch fulfilling the third line of defence and review of the branches business operations. This role will grow into a SMF role in 2 years’ time.


    Responsibility

    • Carry out risk based audits across the business and other projects as assigned by senior management, to provide assurance that material risks faced by the bank are being adequately managed;
    • Execute and help to develop the London branch Internal audit plan;
    • Support the continual development of the internal audit methodology;
    • Audit various business areas of the bank in line with strategic instructions;
    • Assess, identify and report any issues of weakness within control and devise remediating solutions for any issues found;
    • Work alongside internal departments to analyse issues and formulate resolutions
    • Ensure our internal audit process and reports are aligned with local regulations and Head Office’s requirements;
    • Other Ad hoc duties as required


    Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher;
    • Minimum 2 years internal audit / internal audit experience gained within banking environment, ideally within international branch;
    • Exposure to wholesale and corporate banking activities;
    • Good report writing and communication skills;
    • Demonstrable good understand of audit and up-to-date technical knowledge;


    The Successful Applicant
    The successful candidate for this role will have the following exposure:

    • CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA qualified preferred, or working towards these qualifications;
    • Working experience in top auditing firm viewed favourably but not essential;
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to analyse and solve problems.
    • Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
    • Results and detail focussed.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Willing to do international travel to our other offices when required, though not frequent
