I am working with a leading financial service client who are looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join their growing team as they expand the division and enter a period of exciting project work. This is a role for a Senior Data Governance Analyst who brings specialist background knowledge of the data governance space, and the implications of risk and compliance to an organization. Additionally, as a Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will have a core understanding as to how data governance and data management adds value to company operations.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
- Bring previous, long term employment history within the financial services or risk sectors
- Experience working in a data based role (ie, data architecture, data analysis, data quality)
- Strong abilities with liaising with multiple teams simultaneously
- Expert knowledge of metadata, data governance an MDM
- Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within a specialist data governance and data management division, providing support to ensure the delivery of data governance meets the SLAs and standards defined in the road map strategy
- Assist in monitoring the extent to which compliance standards are being met within the division
- Create documentation defining the quality standards, management and control measures that need to be adhered to during the resolution of major and critical issues
- Ensure that the company control framework is fully aligned to pro-actively work towards achieving the wider company objectives
- Act as an escalation point for data issues, quality monitoring and data assurance activities
- Oversee the data policy implementation process to improve maturity rating
- Liaise with other core strategic business units to coordinate stringent data ownership standards
- Report to the CDO during any major data breaches and inform the BI and BA teams
- Engage in root cause analysis activities when needed

My client is currently recruiting for a Performance Test Lead on a permanent basis in Knutsford. The Performance Test Lead will be responsible for the overall quality and governance as well as the performance of the systems. As the Performance Test Lead you will also ensure adherence to the testing governance and processes. All scripts are to be appropriately correlated, parameterised, with any check points, think time need to be added, etc.
- Build custom code with the Java programming language to make scripts robust and dynamic.
- Review scripts with Performance Engineering Team and/or business team. Determine and validate system functions and user patterns. Build usage models based on these inputs.
- Prioritize and manage multiple initiatives supporting multiple lines of business
- React accordingly to various challenges before, during and after application performance testing engagements
- Collaborate with Performance Engineers on the delivery of results and recommendations to the customer
Essential experience:
- Experience with Performance testing of .NET/J2EE Applications.
- Experience of Solid LoadRunner Scripting experience. Experience with Open Source tools like JMeter, SOASTA, SOAPUI is a Plus
- Experience with Agile Software development methodologies and able to adapt him/her-self with the fast pace environment.
- Experience with any of the following Application monitoring tools such as CA Wily Introscope, HP Diagnostics, AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace is a must.
- Strong technical, analytical, debugging and problem solving skills experience.
- Ideally strong experience/exposure with the Java language.
- B.S in computer science or related field experience
