They're seeking an experienced and passionate Data Warehouse Manager to provide support to the Head of Data Services. You must possess strong end to end SQL Server skills, notably analysis services, to support the team in the deployment of data cubes from the data warehouse. In addition to the development of analysis services objects, an understanding of integration services and reporting services is also important.

As the Data Warehouse Manager, you will be required to control, manage and develop the Data Warehouse including responsibility for future development strategies As well as to support implemented BI solutions by monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues.

You'll obviously have strong experience in a similar role delivering multiple development projects and have strong problem-solving and leadership skills, it is also necessary to have experience with the following:

  • Knowledge and experience of MDX
  • Knowledge and experience of DAX
  • Knowledge and experience of ETL tools e.g. Integration Builder, Integration Services
  • Good understanding of BI Best Practices/Methodologies, relational structures, dimensional data modelling, structured query language (SQL) skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server 2016

    What you'll be doing

    • Track the company's financial status and performance, provide financial reports and interpret financial information to leadership team while recommending further courses of action.
    • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
    • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
    • Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
