Test Analyst - Selenium / Java / Cucumber / Gherkin

My client is currently recruiting for a Test Analyst on a permanent basis in Knutsford. The Test Analyst will be responsible for executing the functional testing plan as defined by the Test Manager. The Test Analyst will be responsible for the test estimates and the test data approach to ensure delivery within the agreed time.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver End to End Functional Tests through Manual and Automation with minimum supervision
  • Accountable for the test coverage
  • Own the test estimates and the IA of the change
  • Own test data approach and liaise with the Technical Delivery Manager to ensure delivery within time
  • Perform test execution at least 50% of the time during execution
  • Own delivery and sign off of the Test Strategy, Test Plan, Approach and TCM and ensure the periodical updates are provided
  • Own and engage the test environments demand, booking, secure env, interfaces

Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches - Agile
  • Good knowledge on Test Automation Tools like Selenium
  • Scripting on Java
  • Extensive understanding of Defect management processes
  • Extensive knowledge of Test estimation techniques, approaches and processes
  • Extensive Knowledge of Data/Document management
  • Test Analysis
  • Test Scenario definition
  • Test Case construction, review and execution
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively

    Location: City of London

    • Experience of working on a system that delivers derivative risk and PnL to trading desks
    • Strong knowledge of at least one class of OTC derivatives (Interest Rates, Equities, Credit, FX)
    • The technical skills and attention to detail required to understand the organisation's data and to explain how IT solutions and processes will look to the end user.
    • Knowledge of SQL and experience analyzing data.
    • An understanding of SDLC, preferably using an agile delivery model
    • understanding of xVA measures, how they are used, how they are calculated and what they are sensitive to.
    • Ideally a working knowledge of credit risk methodology and Basel3 regulations
