McGregor Boyall are currently working with a Global Financial Organisation based in Belfast to source and secure a JavaScript Technical Support Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a client who has over a 15,000 development community.

Key Responsibilities/Requirements

  • Support Management: Manage technical support as agreed with clients, Troubleshoot major technical issues and guide team on technical issue resolution, Reduce recurring application issue using root cause analysis.
  • Technology Management: The technology organization needs to adapt as the industry changes. In some cases, this team will have to lead the adoption of new technology that gives competitive advantage.. Having a good relationship with other stakeholders is crucial. This function also includes identifying and automating opportunities for automation to improve productivity, consistency and reduce risk.
  • Customer Management: Managing customer expectation and developing good rapport with customer community through frequent communications, and forums are must for this role. The job will entail difficult negotiations on issues like green zones, risk-and-control issues etc. It is important to be able to find mutually acceptable solutions under these circumstances.
  • Vendor Management: The job requires engagement with Labor vendor. Daily communications with the support team for managing the service delivery is critical. Dealing with software vendors for licensing, upgrades, risk management, etc is also a requirement in this job.


Must have:

  • Must be a self-starter, effective listener, problem solver and team player.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience with at least 5 years of experience in JavaScript development..
  • Strong understanding of npm, JavaScript and Node.js technologies
  • Experience with Binary Repository Managers like Nexus or Artifactory
  • Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins and TeamCity
  • Previous experience as Technical / Support Lead for a medium to large size support team.
  • Experience working with Developers, Database Administrators and vendors, partners and contractors in the implementation of new applications or message flows.
  • Experience with Linux (shell/batch scripting & server management), Java, .Net, LDAP, Active Directory, Oracle/SQL Server database (SQL, backup & recovery)

  • European CDD Production Support
    £400 - £500 per day

    New job role with a Tier one global bank based in London as a European CDD Production Support

    This role is to assist the European CDD Production Lead across a wide range of CDD topics. These topics include production, preparing MI and presentations, assisting with policy implementation and BoW planning. You will serve as an SME for the queries and questions coming from the regional Client Management teams.

    Ensure all CDD activities are managed appropriately and priorities identified. Any issues to be escalated in a timely fashion to the relevant person.

    Person Specification:

    - Strong knowledge surrounding CDD/KYC for New Business, Renewals and Remediation.

    - Broad overall understanding of the full investment banking value chain and the context within which Client Operations operate

    - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build global and regional relationships within the business.

    - Solid and broad experience of working at a senior level with large multi-project and multi-stakeholder programmes in an international investment bank.

    An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our client a leading global financial services business in the marketing team.

    You will play a key role in delivering exceptional marketing and communications campaigns, working closely with the Nordic area of the business.

    You will be responsible for delivering and executing the marketing plan locally, in line with the Global objectives and goals.

    • Responsible for the development and management of marketing campaigns for a local audience (email, social, web etc)
    • Localise and implement EMEA/Global marketing plans and campaigns
    • Work closely with the translators and the digital marketing team to update / improve company website
    • Work on multichannel marketing campaigns collaborating with central marketing teams
    • Work on the planning and execution of further marketing activities including events, media etc.

    • Experience in a senior marketing executive role

    • SC Clearance is ESSENTIAL
    • Hands on experience of PRPC case working
    • Experience in Integration with JSSON REST highly desirable
    • Strong UX design highly desirable
    • Creating and modifying the Pega rules Rule Sets in the creation of activities, flows (of a given USE CASE) and UI design.
    • Integrations, designing Flows, Activities, Flow Actions, Harness, Section, Decision rules, Declarative rules and Reports.
    • Performance tools like PAL, Profiler, DB Tracer to measure the performance of PRPC applications.

  • Provide user support for trade booking applications
  • Start of day checks, continuous monitoring of application and underlying infrastructure
