Outsourcing Oversight Manager, Dublin or remote or mixture

Support a leading electronic trading firm with solutions that are subject to regulation globally, including requirements and responsibilities in the area of Outsourcing. The regulatory requirements, e.g. MiFID II within the EU, require financial services firms to identify the outsourcing of critical or important functions and impose stricter requirements on such outsourcing as compared to other outsourcing arrangements.

The regulated entities within have developed Outsourcing policies & procedures (and an Outsourcing Framework to manage the risks associated with its outsourced activities, including due diligence processes). The firm is now looking to appoint a dedicated Outsourcing Oversight Manager to operate across multiple global regulated entities to support the executive management team and the wider Proposition Leadership team in managing their outsourcing processes and risks.

The Outsourcing Oversight Manager will act as the overall owner of the outsourcing framework and manage and monitor outsourced activities within the regulated entities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as the owner and subject matter expert of the outsourcing framework and supporting procedures, working closely with leadership teams, Legal, Compliance, Product teams, Operations Teams, Technology, etc.
  • Manage internal governance (including chairing Outsourcing Committee(s) where relevant and approval process and prepare all necessary information for Management approval, at Board level, etc., as appropriate.
  • Work closely with Compliance on regulatory notifications and interactions.
  • Act as primary interface between Legal and the regulated entities in the execution of inter-company agreements, including amendments.
  • Maintain the Outsourcing Register across multiple entities in conjunction with Compliance and Management Teams.
  • Manage the internal monitoring and oversight process, including collating data, challenging service recipients, identifying improvements, tracking actions to completion and reporting to the relevant governance forums up to and included Board level of the regulated entities.
  • Engage in periodic service reviews to ensure that all contracts remain consistent with services delivered and that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) remain within agreed tolerances.
  • Completion of Regulatory submissions, as required. Assist business functions in responding to regulatory queries, on-site visit preparation and follow-on requests for information.
  • Participate as necessary in projects for the termination of any outsourced service.
  • Manage and engage global regulators as the outsourcing SME on matters related to the outsourcing operations and framework.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong analytical capabilities are a priority. This includes demonstrable expertise with Excel/Access, excellent written communication skills and an organized approach to projects and communications.
  • Experience in an outsourced environment desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across teams and across multiple geographic locations.
  • Excellent networking skills and initiative are critical.
  • General understanding of trading platforms is helpful.
  • Experience in change management and/or project management would be an advantage.

    My client is in the media and broadcasting industry is seeking a CRM Co-ordinator. The role supports on the daily operation of campaigns in the email platform, setting up new emails, selecting targeting, validating quality and compliance and producing standard reporting (with support of the data analysts).

  • Scrum Master
    £80000 - £90000 per annum

    My leading investment banking client are looking to bring on an experienced Scrum Master with a background in software development.

    Candidates should have:

    • Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in a variety of different organisations/cultures.
    • Experience in a Software Product / IT Development sphere is essential (Financial preferred),
    • Expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe)
    • Expertise in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, transparency
    • Expertise in the use of JIRA/Confluence
    • Expertise around backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, Epics/Features/Stories
    • Expert knowledge of the software development processes and understanding of Team needs within it
    • Experience of building out a Technical Agile environment (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins/TeamCity, Git/BitBucket, SonarQube)
    • Experience of the IBMi platform, RPG/SQL, Java is a bonus – people from a technical background are preferred
    • Experience of Test Automation in an Agile context a bonus
    • Professional certifications like CSM, PSM, CSPO, CSP, SA, SPC or equivalent are a bonus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
    • Knowledge of other scaled approaches discussed in the Agile space is a bonus (Nexus, LeSS, DSDM)
    • Be comfortable challenging and influencing Stakeholders including Senior Management

  • VMware / Python Developer
    £600 - £650 per day + PAYE

    VMWare / Python Developer - Automation - ESXI - BitBucket - Cloud - Bournemouth (office 2-3 days, rest WFH)

    Contract - 6 months, up to £650/day PAYE

    Global financial services client is looking for a VMware / Python Developer to join their team in Bournemouth on a contract basis. The team focus on delivering modern, distributed Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Iaas) capabilities to support the needs of business applications. Responsible for automating and delivering the platforms in support of the services, that revolve around VMware technologies. The focus is to achieve a comprehensive end-to-end delivery of components that are fully compliant and production ready.

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive VMware infrastructure development experience (ideally 10+years), particularly on deploying ESXi 6.5, 7.0 and products vROps, VRO, VCSA, and other virtual appliances.
    • Python development experience, particularly on automating infrastructure deployments
    • Good knowledge of deploying products using ansible and bitbucket.
    • Experience of working at an enterprise level and scale
    • Working knowledge of private cloud technologies would be beneficial.
