They're seeking an experienced and passionate Development Team Leader to manage a team of 5 Developers to ensure smooth execution of software projects. This role is more of a Team Lead/Management role than hands on Software Development, you’ll ensure coding standards are up to scratch and act as Project Lead/Scrum Lead but not really be asked to join in hands on development unless as a escalation point. So really suits someone looking to step out of Dev into more of a Leadership role.

Or client is looking for someone who will be a successful leader and able to handle the daily difficulties that arise externally to the teams, allowing the team to focus on the delivery of the project efficiently.

You'll obviously have strong experience in a similar role delivering multiple enterprise software development projects and have strong problem-solving skills. In addition to team building & mentoring, it is also necessary to have experience with the following:

  • Software Dev management experience in one of the following techs:
  • Preference Pega PRPC systems and it’s relevant frameworks.
  • Highly useful/desirable primary experience of at least one of the following Development toolsets/frameworks primarily C#, .Net, ASP.Net, SQL, Javascript, AngularJS, TypeScript

Backbone, Entity, LINQ, CSS, PHP

  • Secondary: Java, J2EE, Oracle, PL/SQL, TSQL, SQL Server.
  • Also required: Solid experience of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall/ Iterative methodologies
  • Full SDLC Delivery inclusive of TDD, QA, ideally Automation Testing experience.

    A global banking organisation is currently looking for a senior communications professional to join the business who will have expertise across both Internal and External communications.

    You will have access to the leadership team and create and implement internal and external engagement strategies. This opportunity will work closely with the key stakeholders who will provide source of content but also building and maintaining relationships with key media contacts in a proactive media position will be key. Part of this opportunity will also be to engage the business and ensure they are well informed using various channels.

    The ideal background of this candidate will be from the private banking space although you will be considered if you have solid experience from wealth management and strong knowledge of wealth trusts.

  • IT / Technology Finance Business Partner (Banking)

    Our client (Financial Services) is seeking a Business Partner for their Group IT & Technology department


    The role will provide support to business unit heads, and will contribute to a number of key processes (Budgeting, Business Case Analysis, Monthly Finance MI etc.)

    Candidates must have strong Finance Business Partnering / Management Accounting experience, and must have partnered with an IT / Technology department. Banking experience is highly preferable.

    Key Duties

    • Providing analytical support to new business initiatives. Assessing and contributing to business cases for tactical and strategic investments in any Function and monitoring progress and benefits realisation.
    • Providing analytical support for new (or renewed) contracts with major suppliers of any Function
    • Ensuring all budgets and plans for each Function are produced in a timely manner and to quality required for submission to executive committees and the Board of directors.
    • Managing the production of the monthly financial MI (including insightful, actionable commentary) for each Function by working day 3 of each month.
    • Managing a view of financial risks and opportunities within each Function’s cost base on an ongoing basis.
    • Creating analytical insight to help identify opportunities to drive change and improve efficiency (including driving revenues, reducing costs) within each Function
    • Documentation of key Finance processes including identification of key controls



    Essential Experience

    • Minimum 3 years as a Management Accountant or a similar Finance role partnering an IT / Technology team
    • Experience working within the banking industry.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Degree – ideally in quantitative subject eg Mathematics, Accounting or Statistics



    Desirable Experience

    • Excel at Macro level desirable.
    • ACA/CIMA/ACCA

The ideal IT Trainer will have come from a background with a law/legal/HR type firm and looking to excel their career working in a new type of environment that will bolster your career to the next level.

The Role

You will be delivering high quality IT training courses for new software and systems roll outs

and deliver IT training programmes to meet user training needs covering software applications and use of hardware, to be delivered in the context of the business. You will be expected to deliver IT induction training to new staff and Partners Deliver training using a range of methods including floor-walking, online, group webinars, seminars and one to one sessions.

Key skills:

For this role you must have experience of working in a classroom-based learning environment and one to one models within a legal/professional services/partnership setting.

You must be able to provide a MOS TAP or Train the Trainer Certification (e.g. LPI/IITT/TPMA) or equivalent, as well as a LTC4 Certification

They are looking for someone with excellent IT skills and advanced use of Microsoft Office 2010, 2013 and 2016 along with standard legal software applications. Proven knowledge in some or all of the following systems is also preferred: Windows 8 / 10, Skype For Business, BigHand, MimeCast, MatterSphere, Elite 3E, Fee Earner Desktop and IntApp Time.
