I am currently looking for a Performance Test Engineer to join a top investment based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new digital related project within the business.

Responsibilities-

Work with product owners and business to define & agree performance NFRs, and work with architects and developers to ensure performance driven solutions, designs and development are implemented.

Understand performance test requirements across the development lifecycle, and define & construct performance tests to satisfy them.

Embed performance engineering and testing processes, tooling and techniques into cross-functional teams, with particular focus on automation.

Undertake performance testing, tuning and optimisation of digital applications and solutions, working as part of the multi-skilled cross-functional team to meet the defined NFRs.

Experience required-

Experience Performance Test Engineer

Demonstrable experience in Performance engineering and/or testing discipline.

Knowledge and experience of performance testing and tuning Java and Web applications, their designs and infrastructures.

Familiar with performance testing tools (such as JMeter, MicroFocus Loadrunner/Performance Center, SOASTA), monitoring/logging tools (such as AppDynamics, New Relic, Splunk) and other UNIX/Linux/Web monitors & performance analysis tools to diagnose and resolve performance issues

    The successful candidate can look to receive between £100k and £150k base, plus a healthy package and bonus.

    Requirements:

    • Core Java multi-threaded systems development
    • Low Latency environment exposure
    • Python and database skills highly desirable
    • Strong communication skills
    • Equities business knowledge highly desirable, other asset classes may be sufficient
    • Strong academic profile (ideally computer science or maths)
    • Both creativity and the ability to work within fast paced environments

    Our client, an investment banking group is seeking an experienced ACBS Developer to join the team based in the London.

    Main duties and purpose of the role:

    • Working on complex projects and possess good knowledge on object-oriented programming concepts.
    • Work closely with the BA to satisfy project and/or business requests working towards appropriate effective solutions.
    • To gain product knowledge of current systems and functional processes/configuration to analyse, document, recommend, simplify and implement changes for continued efficiency, effectiveness in the performance of system.
    • To analyse existing functions and functionality and suggest the best possible solution.

    Required experiences:
