Platform Engineer (permanent) - Oxford




An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen within a rapidly growing Healthcare Technology firm based in Oxford. They are looking for a Platform engineer to help build exceptional APIs and services for patients.

All applicants must have a Platform Engineer background.

You also need experience of working with CI/CD tools like CircleCI/Jenkins, familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and service-building skills: Python, NodeJS, HTTP APIs.

As this is a Platform Engineer position, day to day, you will be expected to -

  • Enhance existing and build new microservices, mostly in Python 3 or Node.JS

  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure that deployed code is of the highest quality
  • Engage in Scrum ceremonies
  • Assist in designing and documenting architectural decisions

  • Quant Analyst (FX Cash)

    This is a Quantitative Analyst position within the FX quant development team which is responsible for developing and supporting the mathematical models and analytical tools used by the global FX business to facilitate trading, risk management and product development.

    • Development and enhancements to Quant Libraries and FX Pricing
    • Enhancements of IR/FX curve construction for G10 and EM currencies within curve analytics.
    • Timely support to trading and agile development of new features for E-Pricing and Risk management systems.

    The role focuses on the interfacing of the quant libraries and will require frequent interaction with the London based trading team and regional heads.

    Technical Skills required:

  • Financial Crime and Compliance Lead
    £100000 - £130000 per annum

    Compliance Officer and MLRO leading the Financial Crime and Compliance function for a Trade finance house in London with International officer.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Form the compliance function and manage the compliance risks of the Group globally.
    • Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and controls.
    • Evaluate compliance risks on transactions and propose solutions.
    • Monitor compliance with compliance policies and procedures.
    • Deliver training and updates on compliance matters to staff globally.
    • Remain abreast of compliance developments, advise Senior Management and with the MD implement the necessary procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
    • Raise awareness of compliance risks and contribute to developing the culture.

  • Pricing Manager (Insurance)

    JR444 – Pricing Manager – Financial Services – Permanent – West Sussex - £65000 - £75,000 + Bonus/Benefits

    Our client is a well-regarded financial services organisation who are looking for a talented Pricing Manager to join the business.

    The post holder will have the opportunity to work as part of a small team and lead the implementation of the retail pricing strategy. The individual will need strong pricing experience covering pricing strategies, framework, pricing changes, pricing tools and pricing reviews. You will also build and maintain predictive models and hold ideally have experience of SAS, Emblem, Radar, Excel and advanced statistical techniques.

    Working in a regulated environment from the insurance space or retail financial services is essential.

Technical Analyst - Service Continuity & Disaster Recovery

£35000 - £40000 per annum + Bonus & Pension

Technical Analyst with strong knowledge around Service Continuity & Disaster Recovery required for role with leading financial services client.

The Technical Analyst will come with at least 5 years experience within Service Continuity & Disaster Recovery and is primarily responsible for the support of ITSC policies and standards while providing advice and guidance to internal customers, technical groups and projects on Service Continuity functional duties. They will also liaise with Technology teams to develop and maintain Disaster Recovery procedures and plans for the restoration of mission-critical business applications in the event of natural disasters, technical failures, power outages, and human interference.

The Technical Analyst will govern and communicate best standard for Application DR Testing, Application Recovery Plan review and DR lifecycle management while ensuring up to date record keeping and reporting of DR test results. They will also liaise and assist Technology teams in development, review and submission of functional BIA and BCP plans on annual basis while Coordinating and assisting in developing and testing of Business continuity plans to cover short to long term outage scenarios

The Technical Analyst will be business facing and come with first class communication skills and the ability to articulate to a wide audience with a varying degree of technical knowledge.

My client desires at least one industry certification on BCP, Disaster Recovery, IT Service Management , Cyber Security or IT Risk. Additional IT or Information Security Certifications such as (CBCP, ISO 22301, CISM, ISO 27001, CISSP, CISA etc) will be a bonus.
