The Position:

Such services to include support for; Execution of all the PMO governance, planning, RAID, action and change control activities; Gathering and managing weekly data feeds from across the Program to input into the relevant Governance Forums


  • Support the ongoing development and day-to-day execution of all PMO processes and activities;
  • Administrate and manage the day-to-day activity and maintenance of the program change control process, according to agreed SLAs;
  • Tracking and reporting KPIs (Governance, Planning, Change Control, Risk Management, Secretariat) on a weekly basis;
  • Provide support to the PMO Lead for day-to-day vendor management activities;
  • Maintaining and updating the Program holiday tracker and PMO calendar;
  • Management of the PMO inbox
  • Maintaining and updating stakeholder register;

Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years of Project Support experience, preferably in insurance or financial services sector.
  • Reporting experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, in particular Microsoft PowerPoint

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Lead Test Analyst to join the Application & Test Services team based in Edinburgh. You will be responsible for managing and planning of the system and acceptance tests within a specialist team. You will provide authoritative advice and guidance to a team of ten testers and will be responsible for three project areas. You will have a strong high level overview of each project area and will be assisting with process improvements across these areas.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for overseeing the planning and management of the testing activities.
  • Responsible for the production and approval of testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones.
  • Co-ordinates all activities and testers during each testing phase.
  • Co-operates with clients/users and stakeholders to agree the testing strategy to be employed.
  • Establishes and plans the automated testing strategy for the project providing a platform for the testing team to automate previously manual scripts.

What we are Looking for:

  • Skilled in writing and implementing test approaches
  • Experience of using and leading teams using automated test tools.
  • Ability to understand the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions
  • Is proficient in the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of the testing process and the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects.

The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the end to end release activities needed to support software development lifecycles. They will work with development teams to satisfy the release framework and best practice to ensure all application change is prepared and delivered in a controlled and efficient manner into production. This role will offer the opportunity to join a newly formed team and develop as a new body.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all aspects of the end to end release process.
  • Support release planning activity at portfolio level including scope, method and timing of releases.
  • Escalate identified Risk Events and contribute to their investigation.
  • Ensure ITIL Release and Configuration Management principles and processes are followed to ensure that service levels, targets, productivity and quality measures are achieved.
  • Form strong working relationships with internal customers and stakeholders

Skills, Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Practical understanding of full software development lifecycle.
  • Awareness of different delivery methodologies and their impact on release.
  • Practical experience managing software releases into multiple environments
  • Awareness of ITIL Service Delivery best practice.
