Our client is looking for 2 Policy Associates to join their experienced team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing the quality of reporting from asset managers, asset owners and service providers applying to become the signatories to the UK Stewardship Code, judging the quality of reporting and drafting individual feedback.
  • Collecting evidence and examples; and identifying trends to contribute to the annual review of stewardship reporting and to develop future policy proposals.
  • Analysing and summarising relevant research, policy papers and consultations, and preparing briefings for senior colleagues.
  • Working with senior policy associates and the stewardship senior manager on specific projects, policy initiatives and relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • Working on cross organisational initiatives that promote effective stewardship and corporate governance, or support organisational transformation.
  • Working across industry initiatives, councils and taskforces representing the interests of the FRC for example on the Occupation Pension Scheme Council, the Taskforce on Social Factors.
  • Support the Corporate Governance team in analysing Corporate Governance Code reporting.
  • Identifying and pursuing areas for research and supporting senior colleagues, FRC’s research team, external consultants, academics and advisors on delivering research projects.
  • Reviewing the team’s approach to corporate governance and stewardship and contributing to policy proposals.
  • Engagement with other government departments and regulators, particularly as we progress to review the Code in 2023

Required:

  • A degree level qualification, relevant qualification, and/or relevant experience in the pensions and investment industry is required.

Desired:

  • Studying CFA Certificate in ESG Investment or similar
  • An understanding of corporate governance and stewardship and the benefits.
  • High quality analytical and interpersonal skills and work flexibility across projects.

    A well known aviation business is seeking a permanent Business Development Manager to support the delivery of the EMEA B2B revenue income targets through proactive sales approaches.

    The Business Development Manager will:

    • Identify and close: To research, identify, approach and close new sales opportunities within the EMEA region.
    • Collaboration: To work with colleagues internally to support the presales process (pitch presentations etc).
    • New client mobilisation: To support the new client mobilisation process.

    This role directly reports to the Programme Manager of the Salesforce Centre of Excellence and as the Salesforce Developer, you will deliver Salesforce related change to all areas of teh business.

    Person Specification

    • Experience working with Project Managers, Product Owners and other developers to design cohesive development solutions and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
    • Salesforce Development experience using Apex, Lightning, Service Cloud
    • Salesforce Certified Developer
    • .Net and Javascript development experience
    • Understanding of Agile development principles
    • Strong Stakeholder Management
    • Good leader of people
    • Experience with Office 365
    • Knowledge of SFDC architecture
    • Participates effectively in a team environment, including peer review and mentoring
