Pre-Sales Consultant Payments

£70000 - £90000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Presales or professional services consultant with with experience working on financial / accounting solutions and ideally with experience of payments solutions.

You will ideally be able to demonstrate a track record of working in a customer facing pre-sales or professional services role providing complex software solutions to clients such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, Document Management and have a good understanding of Finance / Accounts / Payments.

To be a success in this role you will need to be an accomplished Pre-Sales / Professional Services Professional. This means you will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability create a rapport and with clients whilst gaining a clear understanding of client requirements. You will need to demonstrate the ability to balance the demands of securing a clear understanding of the requirements of clients and accurately identifying any risks and challenges with the need to clearly demonstrate the value of our clients solutions and support the sales team in securing the business.

  • Development Lead / Manager (Java, Springboot, ReactJS)

    Job Responsibilities

    This will be a very “hands on” technical role requiring the individual to act as a technical lead to help lead and build a team of around 10-15 engineers.

    The role is with a global banking client but within a function tasked with building platforms for areas that run across the entire bank. Part of their new Digital Banking initiatives has seen the demand for building in-house platforms increase and the client is now looking at building out a platform which will act as an internal global “community” where centralised technical information can be accessed / shared across the organisation.

    Please note this role requires no previous Banking / Financial Services experience but candidates should have worked on large-scale systems within their respective industry domains.

    The role requires (but is not limited) to the following criteria:

    • Proven experience as a Technical Lead who can lead and build engineering teams (10+) as well as take ownership with experience managing global stakeholders up to the C level
    • Must possess “Hands on” Technical ability & still maintain a passion to code.
    • Contribute towards the overall design and architecture of the platform.
    • Engage directly with C-Level stakeholder with an ability to own and drive the relevance of current / upcoming technology trends to continuously evolve this “community”.
    • Proven experience building out similar platforms such as internal web portal systems / e-commerce systems / global web-based marketplace type platforms etc…

    Key Technical Skills

    The ideal candidate should have the following skills / background:

    • Proven experience of leading teams of up to 10+ engineers.
    • Hands on experience with the following technologies:
      • Java (Essential)
      • Microservices (Springboot)
      • ReactJS
      • Python (Highly Advantageous)
    • Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
    • Experience building out scalable robust platforms such as internal portal systems / web-based marketplaces / e-commerce platforms.

A well-established financial services company based in Epsom, Surrey is looking for an IT Project Manager.

You will work on the delivery of technology change for the HR function globally.

All applicants must have prior IT Project Management experience. You must also have experience of delivering HR systems/technology preferably Payroll and Flexible Benefits related projects.
