Principal Architect

As a Principal Architect, you will be working in a team that have been instrumental in supporting our clients key product and service evolution including their most recent launches. You will be involved in;

  • Influencing the evolution of our business strategy and implementation planning, including the evaluation and of potential initiatives and financial justification of these.
  • Work directly with our business partners, both internal and external.
  • Engage with different levels of seniority to determine how business strategy translates into solutions to be implemented.
  • Lead cross-domain and multi-disciplinary architecture engagements.
  • Chair the Technical Design Authority and identify key design decisions to fulfil the business strategy. By applying your relevant expertise, you will assist commercial, technology and operational teams in ensuring the delivery of the complete scope and business outcome is on time and within the budget.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • We would like you to possess a background in either carrier-grade network or large scale software architecture.
  • A working knowledge of industry-specific cross-domain architectures for OSS/BSS and network integration, including automation of business processes and telecommunications industry standards (eTOM, TAM)
  • Skills at preparing concise technical documents and presentations; understanding your audience is key and your style and content should be appropriate for C-suite engagements through Delivery teams.
  • A broad knowledge across the technology spectrum so you can converse confidently and challenge when needed
  • The vision to anticipate problems and issues as well as the creativeness to provide solutions.

    I am seeking a highly commercial HR Business Partner to shape and lead the people agenda within a fast paced organisation operating within the FMCG/Retail sector. The organisation is currently in a transformative state and is looking for a cutting-edge HR Business Partner to support the business as it undergoes change.

    Critical requirements will include:

    • Business Partner the leadership team to help define their functional strategy
    • Develop and deliver a People Plan with the business area leadership which outlines achievable/ prioritised initiatives to improve measurable results.
    • Future proof the organisation with the right skills and capabilities by advising business leaders and agreeing activities for acquisition, succession, retention, early career and high potential development designed to improve business performance.
    • Act as a strategic partner to work with business leaders to deploy HR initiatives within their business area. Perform the lead role in culture, organisation design and effectiveness and change management.
    • Utilise data analytics to identify trends and drive business critical decisions
    • Work in a highly collaborative way to engage the business in critical initiatives on the people agenda.



    Experience & Skills

    • Proven experience of working as an HR Business Partner within a large complex organisation with multiple stakeholders, including matrix relationships.
    • Extensive experience of driving a people agenda in a transformative environment
    • Communicates, challenges and influences a variety of stakeholders with an ability to build constructive relationships in a culturally diverse environment.
    • Systemic approach to problem solving and able to convert proposals and ideas into a practical reality.
    • Adaptable to changing business needs and understand commercial drivers.
