Private Markets - Project Manager (Real Estate)
Strong seasoned Project Manager with Private Markets / Real Estate experience required for this Investment Management project. You'll be involved in all aspects of project including consolidation of accounting suppliers and integration of a new software system (replacing Cougar). This role isn't a standard PM role and the specialist experience below is a MUST HAVE.
Must have demonstrable:-
- Investment Management track record
- Deep Real Estate knowledge (within Private Markets)
- Operating model experience
- Systems / data understanding (e.g. Argus, Taliance, Cougar, RealData, Deal Machine)
- Experience consolidating and automating data feeds / accounting streams)
This role will be fully remote for now - although the main centres are Edinburgh and London (which may require site visits as circumstances allow).

Job purpose

- Ability to establish strong internal relationships across the business, particularly with key stakeholders: Budget owners, partner group & senior finance team
- A leader with a flair for inspiring and developing others
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a focus on innovative presentation of financials to a wide audience
- Experience of influencing stakeholders to ensure the best outcome is reached for the benefit of the organisation
- An engaging, approachable, self-motivated and hands on individual
- Ability to solve problems innovatively and action ideas quickly
- Ability to define profit drivers and support the Business to improve and maximise returns
- The ability to educate, support and challenge the commercial financials within regions and teams

Qualifications
- 5 years+ post qualified experience (ACA, ACCA, etc)
- Transformation experience in a Finance environment
- Consultancy background would be preferable but not essential
