McGregor Boyall are currently recruiting for a Product Design Analyst for our financial services client based in Glasgow.

As a Product Design Analyst, you will be part of the business design & change team, aiming to bridge the gap between change strategy and execution, within Wholesale Client On Boarding (WCOB) Transformation through robust operating models covering people, process, data and systems.

You will work on major transformation initiatives within client onboarding and maintenance, focusing on delivering business design and target operating models within WCOB.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Defining robust operating models that underpin operational and tech change with impact assessments
  • Working with business SME’s to draw out detailed knowledge of the current operating model
  • Supporting the WCOB strategy to provide onboarding operations and functions
  • Presenting clear articulation of operational versus technology-supported change
  • Identifying customer journeys and business use cases through stakeholder workshops
  • Helping define tactical milestones that minimize regret cost, from current state to target state

To be considered for the role we would love you to have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills – you will be a natural at working with senior stakeholders and SMEs
  • Excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset with the ability to get into the details to find solutions.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of the overall Operational landscape within Onboarding and client refresh
  • Business Change experience in cross-functional teams
  • Vast experience of best practice business change methodologies and tools, combined with the ability to adhere to best practice
  • Business change experience
  • Target operating model / Business Operating Model
  • Commercial client onboarding knowledge or SME experience

    SQL Server Developer required to help deliver a project with an Edinburgh-based Financial Services client. You will work as part of the SQL Server development team on the end to end development of new and existing data feeds, data processes, data layers and reporting. You will have most of the following:

    Umbrella Day Rate - £750 - £850/day (Inside IR35)

    London – Hybrid Working (3 days a week in office)

    Looking for a BAPM to work on an eRates electronic trading platform which underpins the electronic rates activity including pricing, hedging and execution.

    Candidates should have:

    • Experience as a business analyst / project manager in a financial services organisation
    • Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, and associated trading workflows: Government Bonds, Interest Swaps, Repos, Futures and options
    • Extensive understanding of electronic trading venues and associated dataflows i.e., market, static and trade data.
    • Experience of working with the ION Trading
    • Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.
    • Active interest in design of system architecture

  • Business Development Manager
    Up to £55000 per annum + + Bonus + Additional Benefits

    A well known aviation business is seeking a permanent Business Development Manager to support the delivery of the EMEA B2B revenue income targets through proactive sales approaches.

    The Business Development Manager will:

    • Identify and close: To research, identify, approach and close new sales opportunities within the EMEA region.
    • Collaboration: To work with colleagues internally to support the presales process (pitch presentations etc).
    • New client mobilisation: To support the new client mobilisation process.
    • Tenders / RFPs (request for proposals): To search for tendering / RFP opportunities that could be of interest from a new business client perspective.
    • Conferences / trade events: To drive lead generation through attending appropriate industry conferences, trade shows, events and expositions.

    Ideal candidate:

    • Must have the ability to identify and close new business sales opportunities
    • Skilled in lead generation and relationship building
    • Able to present with confidence at C-suite / Partner level
    • It would be advatageous if they worked in the travel and tourism industry

    Please note this is a hybrid role and will require some office presence.
