I am currently looking for a Production Support Lead/ Manager (FIX/ UNIX) to join a top financial services organisation based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide cover to the Live and Test trading systems
  • Provide technical support to the external Dealer and Client users
  • Support external users of the API (XML/FIX/SOAP) interfaces
  • Provide networking and connectivity support
  • Monitoring system servers and ensuring appropriate monitoring is in place
  • Raise and track issues through the use of the helpdesk ticketing mechanism
  • Participate in global support meetings as requested

Key experience/ knowledge

  • Experienced Application/ Production Support Lead/ Manager
  • Strong trading systems experience
  • Strong Management experience (onshore and offshore)
  • Proven thought leadership in process automation with demonstrable implementation skills
  • Strong experience working with FIX
  • Strong experience working with UNIX
  • Strong SQL experience
  • Scripting experience (any language)

Location - London

Role – Permanent

Salary - £85,000 - £115,000 p/a

FIX Integration Engineer/ FIX Onboarding- Fixed Income

I am currently looking for an experienced FIX Integration Engineer position to join a top financial organisation based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Responsibilities-

Help new and existing institutional clients and broker-dealers with the implementation/integration of APIs for various STP features.

Support API integration for various fixed income products - US Investment Grade, Emerging Markets, High Yield, US Agencies, Asset Backed Securities and Credit Default Swaps.

Work with client services, production support and development teams for speedy resolution of any issues in the test and production environments.

Experience required

Experience in a development, trade support or business analyst role.

Experience and thought leadership in certification is highly desirable. Specifically, automation of certification procedures and installing self-service tools in order to produce operational efficiencies.

FIX protocol experiences a must.

Experience with XML (DTD, schemas), TCP/IP & networking fundamentals

Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system including user commands, scripting etc.

RDBMS skills (SQL Server and/or Oracle) – ability to read, write and run SQL scripts
