My client are a well-established FS company with a global presence. They are looking to add two Quant Dev resources, one on the junior scale (1-3yrs exp) and one on the senior scale (7+yrs exp). These are both Front Office roles in FS, offering great exposure to a range of business lines including Risk, Fixed Income, Commodities and FX.

This role is currently remote-only due to Covid

C#, C++, Financial Modelling, Quantitative Finance, Python, SQL Server

The successful candidate(s) will be involved on a host of Front Office, business critical applications that are directly linked to revenue generation for the client. You will be working closely with business users and other quants in order to gather requirements and translate these into clear and concise code.

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Hands-on development expertise with either C#,C++ or Python
  • A strong educational background in either comp sci or maths-related fields
  • Excellent numerical ability
  • Great stakeholder engagement skills (ability to work in high-tempo environments is key)
  • An aptitude for problem-solving and an analytical mindset
  • Prior experience working within any of the following: Risk, FX, Commodities, Rates, Equities, Fixed Income or Options

You do not have to tick all the boxes to be a great asset to this team, particularly for the junior hire. Provided you are highly competent in any of the programming languages listed above and from a mathematical/quantitative background, my client would still be keen to speak with you.

    We are working with a rapidly growing consultancy who are looking for several DevOps Engineers (at Consultant, Senior, Lead and Principal level) on a permanent basis.

    You will focus on the high availability of mission-critical services including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Build and Deploy, Research and Trading; supporting globally distributed services across APAC, EMEA and AMER regions.

    • Experience of working for a Consultancy firm
    • High-level scripting ability with Python and bash
    • Experience with Infrastructure automation (e.g. Chef, Puppet or Ansible)
    • Good working knowledge of networking technologies e.g. TCP/IP, Multicast, tcpdump, clocking (PTP, NTP)
    • Familiar with monitoring infrastructure (e.g. ELK, Prometheus)

    HR Systems Lead (Success factors), Talent Succession

    Our client, a highly regarded global financial services organisation are looking to appoint a HR Systems Lead for a global project that will focus on Talent Succession and Internal Mobility.

    Reporting into the Head of HR Design and Solution Architecture with a dotted line reporting into the Future Skills programme, this role will have overall accountabilities of:

    • Acting as the design lead for key projects or initiatives with a focus on Talent Succession Internal Mobility.
    • Owning the planning and implementation of SRT and UAT for the Future Skills programme.
    • Applying employee experience / service mindset to develop the solutions.
    • Responsible for providing expertise to, and develop relationships with HR and HR IT stakeholders to ensure new and changed solutions, are optimal, and in line to meet the business objectives.
