Salary- £30,000 - £42,000

Research – data centric – financial/business driven – Market Data
Our Global Investment Management Advisory firm are looking for two research analysts, they want analytical individuals which are enthusiastic about researching into financial markets. The role will entail delivering high quality and accurate research on various companies and articulating/drawing key messages from the data.
Required Skills for the role:
- Provide concise and compelling research
- Be able to multi-task on various researching matters
- Assist in projects in evaluation and management of market data, data calibration and operational process automation
Key Activities:
- Highly Developed information mining and retrieval skills
- Interpersonal individual
- Enquiring and analytical individual with ability to narrow down data into facts

Software Engineer Manager- Permanent- West London
I am currently looking for an experienced Software Engineer Manager to join a top organisation based in North West London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.
Responsibilities:
- You will help my client migrate from a monolithic architecture to microservices
- Assist in architecting systems and applications
- Participate in regular retrospectives help surface what’s not working so we can fix it, and what we’re doing right so we can improve on it
- Lead the creation, availability, resilience, and scalability of software solutions
- Continuously improve software engineering practices
- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies,
Essential skills/experience:
- Extensive experience with Java
- Demonstrable experience of Java, its libraries and frameworks
- Knowledge of Git, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience with build automation tools like Maven and Gradle
- Proven experience creating Docker containers
- Solid knowledge of microservices oriented architectures
- Demonstrable ability to fully understand and design an Event Sourcing system
- Experience of building and/or working with RESTful services
- Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems, especially PostgreSQL
- Solid knowledge of working in cloud based infrastructure, in particular AWS
- Demonstrable knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

- Provide business and data quality requirements, and controls framework for compliance data from a data consumer perspective.

- Financial crime systems experience is ideal.
- Ideally experience managing change management initiatives.
- Excel Skills.
- Good stakeholder Management skills.
