My prestigious Glasgow based Financial Services client urgently requires a Resourcing Business Manager to join them on an initial 6 month contract basis to work as part of their Global Resourcing Function.

The successful candidate will have experience of the following:

Technical Skills
• Technical & professional HR / Resourcing knowledge with a strong understanding of Financial Services
• Ability to think strategically at a broad organisational level
• Strong project management skills
• High level of personal organisation with ability multi-task, and execute at speed without direct line management control
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure, delivery focussed environment
• This role will need to be flexible to support changing levels of business activity
• Ability to deliver in a matrix environment
• Outstanding networking skills

Key Competencies
• Business Skills – Including delivery solutions and decision making
• Stakeholder / relationship management - demonstrable first class stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, with strong and influential personal credibility
• Communication / Influence – experience of working at different organisational levels from SMEs around the business to senior level stakeholders and sponsors
• Personal &Interpersonal Skills – ability to engage, influence and negotiate with a wide variety of colleagues at all levels in the organisation, building trusted relationships and working through others to achieve goals
• Problem Solving - Analysis and utilisation of data and insight to make changes and drive improvements
• Managing Risk – aligning service to key policies ensuring successful compliance to all audit requirements

• End to end recruitment experience, ideally from within a Financial Services environment
• Experience of designing and implementing a strategy and vision
• Experience of stakeholder management at a senior level and confident to represent area in senior meetings with senior internal and external stakeholders
• Proven track record of successful delivery
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with dynamic and evolving environments
• Ability to work in a matrix reporting environment with multiple stakeholders demonstrate capability to balance and prioritise competing demands

  • Cash Equities eTrading Support Team Lead (Director)- London
    £100000 - £120000 per annum

    I am currently looking for a Cash Equities eTrading Support Team Lead (Director) to join a top investment bank based in London.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Maintain high service delivery for production services, monitor and report key performance indicators, act as an agent of change for service improvement
    Deliver front to back management of critical incidents in line with Incident management standards
    Supporting members of the global application support teams.
    Maintain and nurture core stakeholder relationships, primarily front office personnel such as product managers, traders & sales and account managers.
    Building and documenting repeatable processes to monitor and support systems and applications, ongoing development and continuous improvement of these processes

    Experience Required:

    Strong experience within the Cash Equities Business area.

    Background in FIX/ UNIX
    Experience managing multiple teams across different core Business streams – stakeholder management is a vital part of this role.
    A proven background with crisis and major incident management.
    A demonstrable ability to set-up & restructure teams and drive continuous improvement.
    Built a career on management of L2 support teams & understand the key attributes that makes them tick.
    A proven level of comfort and confidence facing off and interacting with senior IT and Business management

    Director Level

    £100,000- £120,000 (plus benefits)

    Main Responsibilities:

    • The client needs a technical resource who has hands-on knowledge and expertise on web optimization tasks.
    • The requirements of the job will be to conduct comprehensive technical audit of client's products and highlight significant issues & optimization problems.
