My client has democratised healthcare by putting an handy and inexpensive health service into the hands of every person on ground. In order to achieve this my client has brought composed a large team of programmers to focus on combining the ever increasing computing supremacy of machines with the best medical knowledge of humans to produce a comprehensive, direct and personalised health service and make it easily available.

My client has won multiple awards and constantly growing and looking to double in size due to an official contract with the NHS, they are now seeking a strong Ruby/Ruby on Rails contractor to join now or early Jan.

Requirements

  • 4 Ruby experience (can use outside the rails frameworks)
  • Knowledge of Rails framework and its best practices
  • Knowledge of RubyGems and Bundler
  • Experience in Test Driven Development using the most widespread libraries
  • Good Knowledge of databases, SQL and query optimization
  • Confident in using Git and pull request based approach
  • Basic front end-knowledge including CSS3 (SASS), coffeescript and backbon
