Sage Consultant
McGregor Boyall are currently recruiting for a Sage Consultant for our client based in the UK.
As sponsorship is not available with this position, you must hold current right to work status.
We are looking for a mid – senior level Sage Consultant on a permanent basis to implement Sage ERP products and the associated add-ons and modules for the SME market.
Your role will include kicking off project meetings, installation of both Sage software and associated products including Microsoft SQL, training, and data conversions.
The successful candidate will have excellent experience with Sage 200 who can cross train to Sage Intacct.
The role itself is home based but you will need to travel to the North East for your induction, training and team collaboration days. You will also be required to visit client sites from time to time as implementations will include both on and off-site work (UK drivers license is essential with this role).
Key Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Attending business analysis meetings with customers to discuss existing systems and how to convert to Sage products following the sale of the system
- Carrying out the installation of Sage products on the customers’ servers and workstation computers
- Preparing and presenting classroom and onsite training to new and existing customers core modules of Sage products
- Reporting design and testing using Sage Report Writer
- Carrying out onsite visits to complete projects and support existing customers when necessary
- Logging detailed information in response to customer queries and responding in a timely manner with solutions
To be considered for this role we would love you to have the following skills and experience:-
- Sage Accreditations; Sage 200, Sage 50 or/ and Sage Intacct
- Knowledge of BI products would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Sage Manufacturing, Sage CRM and 3rd Party applications (Sicon, Draycir, Eureka, Eque2, Codeless Platforms)
- Knowledge of SQL and preferably have basic scripting knowledge and be able to install and configure
- Good accounts knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of delivering successful software implementations
- Previous experience of delivering training in a classroom environment
- Project Management and relevant documentation experience
