I am looking for Java Developers (Contract) for an innovative FinTech business with offices based in central Edinburgh. This will be a long-term contract offering a daily rate in a region of £350-£400 (DOE). If you have evidence of extensive work covering full Software Development Life-cycle using Java technical stack, this opportunity will allow you to work in a truly vibrant and collaborative environment.

To qualify for this position, you will be able to demonstrate experience and/or knowledge of the following tools and methodologies:

  • Extensive experience delivering projects using Java 8 (older editions of Java can also be considered)
  • Strong knowledge and experience of full SDLC
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Java related frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
  • Previous exposure to Cloud products (ideally AWS)
  • Ideally, you will have experience working with APIs and its integration
  • Ideally, you have been working on SaaP type of projects before

    Tripwire subject matter expert required to be primary contact for all aspects of the Tripwire solution within a leading global financial services organisation. You will come with advanced levels of knowledge of the Tripwire tool and associated change monitoring best practices.

    The Tripwire Monitoring Manager will be responsible for maintaining Tripwire rules, tasks, actions, and the implementation of Tripwire audit policies. Java Engineer- Contract- Inside IR35- Edin/Glasgow

Looking for experienced Java Engineers on a contract basis for a project working on various Financial applications.

You will be a part of large Agile Development teams providing greenfield or brownfield projects. You will be exposed to a variety of technical tools such as Linux/Unix, Scala, Perl, Bash, AWS and sometimes Front End tools like Angular or ReactJS.

These are contract positions that will be inside IR35 from April 2020 offering a daily rate of up to £375.

To qualify for these roles, you will have to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

  • Expert knowledge building complex applications using Java (we use Java 8/9)
  • Strong understanding and experience with every part of the software development lifecycle including testing, deployment, design and architecture
  • Expert knowledge with SQL, Oracle and other Relational databases like DB2
  • Sound knowledge of Integration tools- XML, SOAP, JSON, Spring
  • Experience working on Build tools: Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, GIT
  • Ideally, you have been working on financial applications previously
