McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Desktop Engineer with extensive experience to join a fast-paced finance organization on a permanent basis who have ambitious plans for growth in Scotland. This position is based in their flagship Edinburgh office.

You will join the existing team at a crucial point in their business growth and will take on a senior role to support the Technical Lead in driving forward the business strategy. You will be supporting a complex environment with around 8,000 work stations across two sites and will be managing all End User Computing support and projects including Windows 10, printing solutions, virtual desktops (Horizon), Endpoint protection as well as managing devices.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in supporting a large-scale, diverse Windows environment
  • 3+ years of experience in End User Computing (EUC)
  • Windows 10 configuration and management
  • Application delivery using SCCM
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VMware Horizon View preferred)
  • Mobile device management
  • Endpoint Protection

    An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Platforms to join a global financial services client based in the City.
