McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced System Administrator with a diverse skillset to join a fast-paced global fintech organization on a permanent basis who have ambitious plans for growth in Scotland.
You will join the existing team at a crucial point in their business growth and manage a diverse and complex environment, with unlimited opportunity for cross-skilling.
Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in a System Administration role in a large-scale, complex environment
  • Wintel and Unix environments
  • Virtualisation – VMware
  • Redhat, Solaris
  • AWS, EC2
  • MQ, Apache, JBOSS and or Websphere
  • Core protocols such as TCP/IP, SSH, SMTP, LDAP, NFS and DNS.
  • SAN storage, in particular the EMC or IBM Storage arrays
  • Shell scripting (ksh, bourne, bash, csh, etc).

    A successful and expanding multi-national fintech require a strong Java engineer to help build out their low latency FX Algo Trading application suite.     Java Low Latency Trading Engineer – Buy Side – up to £140k + bonus

    A leading and expanding London based buy side trading organisation are looking to add a strong Java Low Latency engineer to their industry leading workforce. Working directly for the desk you will be responsible for both the development of greenfield components and enhancement of existing multi-threaded low latency trading applications.

Talented and passionate DevOps Engineers (Python / AWS / Jenkins) required for global medical device organisation. The end client have a genuinely exciting product range with real implications for improving lives and well being. With a new platform recently launched they require a number of DevOps Engineers of all experience levels to join their team.
