You will join the existing team at a crucial point in their business growth and manage a diverse and complex environment, with vast opportunity for cross-skilling. You will work across both Windows and Unix environments ensuring a continuous and robust service is available across the business globally.

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in a System Administration role in a large-scale, complex environment
  • Experience across both Windows and Unix environments
  • Virtualisation – VMware
  • Redhat, Solaris
  • AWS, EC2
  • MQ, Apache, JBOSS and or Websphere
  • Core protocols such as TCP/IP, SSH, SMTP, LDAP, NFS and DNS.
  • SAN storage, in particular the EMC or IBM Storage arrays
  • Shell scripting (ksh, bourne, bash, csh, etc).

    Opportunity
    Due to growth of the business we are looking to recruit a dedicated person to provide compliance advice to our base of investment clients. The individual would work under the Partner and would form direct working relationships with our clients and would be the first point of call for all relevant compliance queries. The individual may also be asked to provide compliance advice to our internal business. The individual would also be involved in designing technology solutions with our development team for common compliance issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Answering compliance queries and providing robust written and/or verbal answers
    • Leading on FCA Authorisations

    • Acting as a compliance business partner to the AIFM team

    Experience
    We would expect that candidates will have:

    • 3 years’ experience within a regulatory consultancy where they have provided compliance advice to clients or 6 years within an in-house compliance advisory function
    • an excellent knowledge of the following core regulations including:
      • the Senior Manager’s regime
      • the Approved Person regime
      • the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (risk management experience would be beneficial not required)
      • MIFID (aspects relating to illiquid portfolios i.e. excluding transaction reporting, MiFIR, etc)

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, with skills in Windows Server, Active Directory / Exchange and Virtualisation.

With an overall responsibility for software, hardware and networks this position will suit a talented senior engineer looking to make their first steps into design and architecture of systems. The role will see your role split across the following variety of key tasks:-

  • Providing the senior technical hands-on support and escalation point for the team.

You will work as part of project teams delivering a full range of DevOps and Platform activities including scripting, continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD), and configuration management.
