McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering technology change projects to join a growing, multi-national private healthcare organization who is passionate about using technology to improve patient care and quality of life around the world.
You will join an existing team of Project Managers based in Glasgow working on a 3-5 year global project which will see a major internal transformation of the internal applications used within the business. You will work across all workstreams with particular focus on the business change impact that this major transformation will entail.
You will be responsible for the coordination, status reporting and management of a cross-functional work stream, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget and meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations. You will take on the responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of the change plan which will break down tasks, milestones, key task dependencies and resource allocations. You will work closely with all Workstream Leads and ensure change management metrics align.
Experience Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience within a Project Manager position delivering large-scale IT application transformation projects within an Agile framework
  • Experience of delivering a business change project and managing the impact on the business
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience of working on concurrent business and IT projects

  • Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer (permanent)

  • Java Software Engineers - Front office trading

    World-Renowned financial trading business is looking to improve and expand the number of tools available to its Traders, Quants and Sales teams in London. They are looking for strong java software engineers to build their next-gen trading technology platform and diversify their product offering to clients. No prior experience is needed within the trading technology or even finance space, but an enthusiasm to learn about financial markets is key!

    The successful candidate will be working on some of the latest technology stacks including; Open Source Java (some cases, version 11), modern containers (Kubernetes/docker), Microservices architecture, AWS cloud and other modern data tools and some machine learning components.

    There is an emphasis on agile working and a flat hierarchy, meaning that candidates at any level can shape the future strategic direction of their trading technology platform and have input into design and architecture of the codebase.

    A Java software engineer can look to receive between £60k base and £125k base plus a healthy package and bonus potential.


    • Experienced Core Java Software Engineer
    • Ideally some web/ front end experience too
    • Ideally some experience with some of the modern tech listed; Containers, Microservices, Cloud etc…
    • Interest in financial markets, willing to work on Trading Technology platforms
    • Ability to converse with various stakeholders confidently
    • Strong academic pedigree (Computer Science or Mathematics preferred)
