    A market leading tier 1 Investment Bank are continuing investment into their algo/electronic trading business in London and are currently re-writing their tech stack to add some significant enhancements to the platform for their Quant and Traders. Many of the projects they are working on are new Java developments, such as building a lot of their own in-house connectivity tools.

    There is also a large focus on Latency sensitivity of the Java platform. This is a very profitable area of the business and provides a great chance to work on new cutting edge developments, working closely with the desk.

IT Change Project Manager
McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering technology change projects to join a growing, multi-national private healthcare organization who is passionate about using technology to improve patient care and quality of life around the world.
You will join an existing team of Project Managers based in Glasgow working on a 3-5 year global project which will see a major internal transformation of the internal applications used within the business. You will work across all workstreams with particular focus on the business change impact that this major transformation will entail.
You will be responsible for the coordination, status reporting and management of a cross-functional work stream, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget and meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations. You will take on the responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of the change plan which will break down tasks, milestones, key task dependencies and resource allocations. You will work closely with all Workstream Leads and ensure change management metrics align.
Experience Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience within a Project Manager position delivering large-scale IT application transformation projects within an Agile framework
  • Experience of delivering a business change project and managing the impact on the business
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience of working on concurrent business and IT projects
