Scrum Master – Agile / Scrum

My client is currently recruiting for a Scrum Master on a permanent basis in Manchester city centre. As the Scrum Mast you will be working on a new innovation within a rapidly growing team which is moving in new and exciting directions. The Scrum Master will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising all activities related to the design, development, testing and deployment of a feature/release for a number of application products. The Scrum Master will also coordinate the demands of a number of projects into one delivery plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for scoping, planning, budgeting and forecasting of a release/feature
  • Responsible for managing releases/features to approved budgets and commitments
  • Promote and drive stewardship and application best practices within the development team
  • Strong knowledge of emerging software development methods, tools and standards and actively keep this knowledge current.
  • Champion innovation by recognising newly arising opportunities for improving customer satisfaction, achieving technical excellence and improving the delivery of a software product.
  • Manage business requirements to understand how system requirements fit within overall business solution. Challenge any requirements that are incomplete or do not provide sufficient clarity to support effective software development.
  • Manage requirements to understand how both functional and non-functional aspects (e.g. capacity, availability, response times, etc.) need to be met.

Essential Skills:

  • Technical Delivery Management Experience.
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment.
  • Thorough understanding of full end to end SDLC.

Desirable skills:

  • Agile / Scrum methodology qualification (or similar).
  • Any experience of Cloud technologies.
  • Experience of Jira/Agile Central
  • Experience of Microsoft Project Manger
