I am working with a market leading organization in Norwich who are seeking a Security Software Engineer to join the business, as they engage in implementing a number of new digital strategies, and require a Security Software Engineer to support the delivery of cutting edge security solutions. This is an ideal role for an already experienced software developer or software engineer who has exposure to security systems, or for candidates from a purely security oriented background with experience of Infrastructure as a Services, Linux based systems and scripting languages, who would like to move into a more hands on engineering role.


  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar, or possessing equivalent professional qualifications
  • 2 years experience working in a Security Software Engineer role, or similar position with transferable skills for this role profile
  • Experience of working in a Java environment with Spring based frameworks (Boot, MVC)
  • Skills with an additional scripting language such as Python, Perl or Django
  • Understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL and certificates etc
  • Previous experience working on Linux, Unix or Microsoft based systems
  • Experience with security services technologies such as DDoS and web based firewalls
  • Any experience of delivering IaaS and infrastructure automation solutions using Terraform is beneficial
  • Background knowledge of cloud based technologies with products such as AWS, Jenkins and/or Docker is preferred but not essential
  • Previous exposure to Identity Access Management (IAM) products is also preferred but not essential, with names including IBM Tivoli, CyberArk, SailPoint or Dell Quest/TPAM

    My leading financial services organisation are looking to bring on a strong FX Project Manager to join a strategic change function and deliver a variety of initiatives including launching new products.

    Candidates must have:

    • Strong project management experience within financial services - ideally certified (Prince 2, PMI, APM, Agile).
    • Broad FX knowledge involving markets, products, processes and risk management.
    • Experienced in delivering projects on time, to budget and in line with stakeholder expectations.
    • Proven experience with the full project lifecycle.
    • Experience in managing the delivery of new financial products or services that involve technology systems change.

    Regulatory Reporting Developer – SQL Server

    Our client, a private banking group is seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Developer to join the team based in the London.

    Main duties and purpose of the role:

    • Be a central point of expertise and consultation on technical aspects of the regulatory reporting platform
    • Ensuring development aligns to agreed standards and is of a high quality
    • Evaluating and adopting new techniques to advance the platform
    • Working with product and operations teams to streamline processes
    • Development across each component of the reporting platform
    • Aiding planning sessions and prioritisation to facilitate agile delivery of features
    • Day to day support of the platform to help diagnose and fix production issues

    Preferred experiences:

    • Experience working in financial services/regulated environments
    • Experience building and supporting data solutions with Microsoft technology
    • SQL – Server 2008R2 to 2016 with solid T-SQL
    • Excel 2010 – 2016

    − Facilitate workshops with third party vendors and business users to capture and document surveillance requirements

    − Undertake detailed data analysis and provide mapping solutions to on-board new products onto the strategic real time surveillance platform, engaging internal BAs from other projects accordingly

    − Create and maintain design specification documents for trade surveillance alert models

    − Provide QA testing teams with detailed acceptance criteria for all business requirements

    Liaise with surveillance analysts to lead the troubleshooting and triaging of production issues to drive root cause identification and resolution

    − Support UAT testing to validate the business readiness of each surveillance software release

    − Document, track and escalate risks and issues to project lead as appropriate

    − Participate in daily scrums, backlog refinement sessions, project status meetings and sprint retrospectives
