Senior Change Manager

This impressive global Financial Services Technology and Data provider are implementing vast amounts of change across the organisation and are looking for a Senior Change Manager to help control and manage their Business Change initiatives internally as well as dealing with external clients.

  • Nottingham based
  • £50,000-£75,000 depending on experience
  • Local to Nottingham Train station
  • Local parking (not onsite)
  • Reporting into the Global Head of PMO

The role

  • This Change Management Lead role is part of a larger PMO organization.
  • The PMO / Change Manager is responsible for leading a team who deliver change to projects ensuring events are understood in terms of the impact to specification and quality parameters, time and budget in order to successfully execute Company strategies at the BU level.
  • As part of a larger PMO organization, the Change Manager is responsible for standards and best practices in support of the Head or Global Head of PMO.
  • The Change Management Lead will assist in the running of the PMO, producing reports, detailed analysis, and leading changes in standards and best practices.

  • The ideal candidate will function as the owner of project / business case change control across the organisations project portfolio.
  • The role is responsible for change management framework finalization, communication, implementation, operationally managed and adhered to, and onward efficiency enhancement and maintenance.
  • You will guide a team to oversee day to day change operations to ensure that project change is efficiently managed across the business.
  • The manager should be deeply knowledgeable of ITIL, change management tools and philosophy, business integration of change management in order to oversee the discipline.
  • Their knowledge of best practice change management must be evident within the team and modelled and well adaptable to improve the effectiveness and consistency of delivery for the company.
  • Success of the team is defined providing a clear, quick, efficient project change function across the organisations project portfolio

  • Implement a structured and regulatory compliant change control methodology and framework. Be the champion for change control and lead change control activities across the global organization.
  • Create and implement Standard Operating Procedure which includes the change control methodology and related processes.
  • Develop and execute a set of actionable items and targeted change management plans to support adoption of the changes required by the organization. This includes change control strategy, communications plan, sponsor roadmap/coaching plan, training plan, and appropriate metrics (KPIs) to monitor the health of the change control program.
  • With support from a small team, onwardly support the change control process and workflow, providing information about potential changes, the ‘events’ driving them, handling (mitigation etc).
  • Own open changes and drive each to closure
  • Oversee the robust change control impact assessment process, which takes into consideration all of the possible effects a process and/or product related change could have on the organization. Ensure downstream work products are accounted for, and when necessary, updated in accordance with the aforementioned change control process.
  • Design, develop, and execute change control training strategy and plan including conducting training needs analysis, curriculum development, content development and training delivery.

They are looking for strong java software engineers to build their next-gen trading technology platform and diversify their product offering to clients.     • Ideally some experience with some of the modern tech listed; Containers, Microservices, Cloud etc…
    • Interest in financial markets, willing to work on Trading Technology platforms
    • Ability to converse with various stakeholders confidently
    • Strong academic pedigree (Computer Science or Mathematics preferred)
