The organizations International Commercial Strategy team is a highly visible team that works closely with senior executive management across the organization. The team works in collaboration with all divisions within the business on a wide range of strategic initiatives including identifying key growth trends & opportunities as well as delivering operating efficiencies and system solutions to the business across the international Operating Companies.

Role Summary:

The Senior Commercial Analyst in the organizations Strategy & Operations team is a key member of a lean team which identifies and drives key commercial initiatives as well as designs, implements and delivers solutions across the business. This position will work closely with head office senior management, based both in London and LA, and will require oversight and strategic planning of the various projects and initiatives to improve & ensure optimum trading conditions of the business.

Projects will require strategic thinking, research, analysis, and building recommendations on emerging industry trends, internal business improvement and efficiencies alongside the leadership of the team. The position offers unique exposure the theatrical business across international and to participate in crafting and implementing high-level strategic solutions that will affect the future of the Entertainment brand.


Essential Responsibilities:

The role requires excellent strategic, analytical and communication skills. The individual must possess the ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management, ranging from senior executives to business unit managers and third parties and reliably meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will:

  • Facilitate various deliverables including key project milestones, new commercial initiatives prioritization, system solution deliveries and more as required industry changes & the business
  • Work closely with HO teams to formulate and deliver analysis to support & drive on the vision & strategy designed with the team
  • Provide presentations – including recommendations - on ongoing projects and current commercial initiatives, market analyses
  • Work closely with team members of all-levels to execute on tactical and strategic operations of the business
  • Coordinate business requirements for new projects across markets & HO, and synthesize them into reporting packages & business intelligence toolsets

Key Skill Sets and Individual Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in either Management consulting or Investment banking preferred, ideally within a Media entertainment or Technology or equivalent direct industry experience
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to author, articulate and deliver presentations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A solid understanding of the film and/or media markets/ business models
  • Excellent knowledge of existing technology solutions & landscape
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, e.g.: Powerpoint, Excel, Power BI
  • Business intelligence analytics tool proficiency a prerequisite such as Power BI or Tableau…

While the role will be helping with day to day IT support, the position will also be heavily involved with upcoming, global projects in digitisation. As such our client needs a fluent Mandarin speaker

    • Assist to support London Branch employees with IT requirements to ensure they have the right technology and IT support for their day-to-day work.
