Senior Company Secretary
A Global Financial Services firm is seeking Senior Company Secretary on a permanent basis. The Senior Company Secretary will deliver high quality corporate governance compliance and administration, focussed on the Group plc Board and Committees.
This role will see you primarily assist and support the Senior Assistant Company Secretary and Group Company Secretary in delivering a structured and effective wide-ranging company secretarial service, whilst ensuring the Group and its subsidiaries comply with their relevant best practice and statutory obligations. You will have exposure to all aspects of the Company’s lifecycle and agile working, a supportive team and growth and development opportunities are provided from day one.
Other responsibility:
- Assist with the year-end sign off process in relation to Annual Report disclosures, and in the preparation for the Annual General Meeting
- Assist the drafting, verification and proofreading of sections of the Annual Report as required.
- Assist in the preparation of the meeting packs and event planning for the AGM and any other General Meetings as required.
- Assist in the Board and Committee effectiveness reviews.
- Liaison with Company Registrars.
- Act as secretary to a Group executive level Committee(s), overseeing all related events management and minute taking at meetings.
Ideally my client is after an experience Company Secretary from a PLC or FTSE 250 business.
